JO1 knows how to make an entrance, but before stepping onto the massive KCON LA 2025 stage, the group decided to keep things personal. On August 1, just one day before the big show, the members gave JAMs a surprise they’ll be talking about for a long time. The group popped up at 6XS in Los Angeles for a JO1-themed café takeover—and not just to promote. They showed up, worked two full shifts, and turned a quiet neighborhood dessert shop into the ultimate fan service zone. This event felt like a secret dream that unfolded in real life. The kind of moment you couldn’t plan for but would never forget. And the best part? It felt spontaneous, playful, and full of heart.

Word spread fast that morning, and by the afternoon, JAMs were already flooding the sidewalk outside 6XS. Some even left the KCON convention early, skipping panels and booths just to line up in time. That’s how much it meant. Fans came fully prepped—lightsticks in hand, outfits styled after JO1 stage looks, and phones ready to capture every second. The line wrapped around the block, buzzing with nervous laughter, whispered guesses, and that electric kind of joy that only builds when you know something unforgettable is about to happen. Some fans were seen bouncing in place with excitement as they got closer to the front. Others clutched their phones to their chests, whispering “No way” through gasps as they caught a first glimpse of the members through the glass.

Before their turn, fans took a moment to write an encouraging note for the members of JO1. Some shared heartfelt messages of support and gratitude, while others filled theirs with excitement for tomorrow’s stage. There were smiles and laughter as JAMs decorated their notes with stickers, emojis, and inside jokes, knowing that each one would reach the members. After receiving their drinks, fans lingered near the café entrance to pose for selfies—drinks, plushies, and photocards in hand—immortalizing the moment on their own terms. Many took the opportunity to enter the giveaway for a signed polaroid of the member of their choice, adding a layer of excitement and surprise to an already magical day.

When the first shift started and the doors opened, the screams were instant. Sho, Keigo, and Shosei appeared behind the counter, suited up in simple 6XS aprons that somehow made the whole thing even more surreal. The café space erupted in surprised gasps and cheers the moment fans realized their drinks were being taken—and handed over—by JO1 themselves. Sho had his signature cool presence, calmly taking orders with a soft smile and laser focus that somehow made you more nervous in the best way. Keigo was clearly touched by the turnout, offering shy waves and gentle eye contact that made every fan feel seen. Shosei glowed with his usual warmth, putting everyone at ease as if this was just a casual hangout, not a once-in-a-lifetime pop-up event.

They didn’t stop at just drinks, though. In between orders, the music playing overhead—mostly JO1 tracks—served as the perfect excuse for impromptu dancing that had everyone watching. Choreo wasn't the only additional thing served to JAMs. Fan service was unmatched as they waved to the crowd, threw hand hearts, and even leaned in to respond when someone shouted a compliment. There were constant moments of tiny that created the kind of atmosphere that blurred the line between idol and fan—just people connecting through joy and sugar.

Later, there was a shift switch, where shift two brought in Mame and Ren, and the energy didn’t dip for a second. The moment they appeared behind the counter, the crowd in the cafe roared all over again. Mame came in bright and beaming, practically bouncing behind the register as he made eye contact with every fan he could. While Ren served drinks like a pro but kept breaking into little dances every few minutes, turning the counter into a performance space of its own. Ren, cool and composed as ever, gave off heartthrob energy that had JAMs visibly swooning. His every move—from handing over a drink to locking eyes across the counter—solidified his connection with JAM.

When a high-energy track came on, Mame and Ren didn’t hesitate to dance right there while waiting to pass out the next drink, captivating the attention of everyone in the cafe. Every time someone realized their drink was being handed to them by Mame or Ren, there was a fresh round of smiles, hands covering mouths, and shyness. One fan was seen hopping in place before making it to the counter. Before Ren took her order, and flashing her a soft smile, her face began to glow from the anticipation. And still, the line kept moving. As the event began to wind down and the final orders were handed out, no one wanted to leave. Fans lingered on the sidewalk, still buzzing, about what they had just experienced. For many JAMs, this pop-up will go down as one of the most special pre-convention events ever. It wasn’t just about dessert. It was about joy, gratitude, and the feeling of being seen.

Now, with KCON LA 2025 Presented by Olive Young having officially kicked off, fans are even more excited for what’s to come. If this was the energy at a café, just imagine what they’ll bring to the stage. The drinks may be gone, but the high from today? That’s going to last all weekend.
