BIGBANG Announces 20th Anniversary World Tour, Bringing “XX : COSMOS” to 19 Cities and 33 Shows Worldwide

Twenty years after making their debut and changing the landscape of K-Pop, BIGBANG are stepping back onto the global stage with their largest celebration yet. The legendary group has officially launched their 20th anniversary era with the release of their new digital single “BiiiG,” while preparing to take their highly anticipated BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > across 19 cities and 33 shows worldwide.

The tour officially kicked off August 21 with the first of three consecutive shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, beginning a worldwide celebration of BIGBANG’s two decades of music, performance, and influence. From Asia to North America, Europe, and Oceania, the tour will bring the group to some of the world’s largest stadiums, domes, and live entertainment venues as they reunite with fans for a milestone anniversary. The world tour follows BIGBANG’s release of “BiiiG” on August 19, marking the group’s first new music in approximately four years. The single immediately reminded listeners of the distinct musical identity that has made BIGBANG one of K-Pop’s most influential acts, blending their recognizable rap and vocal styles with confident lyricism, playful wordplay, and a celebratory sound fitting for their 20th anniversary.

The accompanying music video carries that same celebratory spirit, drawing from elements that have become part of BIGBANG’s history and visual identity. A truck travels through a colorful, surreal interpretation of space, while BIGBANG’s signature light stick and a set inspired by “Sunset Glow,” the title track from the group’s second full-length album, connect the new release to the memories that have followed the group throughout their career. The members’ commanding presence and choreography bring the anniversary celebration to life, with the video reaching No. 1 on YouTube’s worldwide trending and Trending Music charts. The timing of “BiiiG” also celebrates BIGBANG as they enter their third decade as a group. Since debuting under YG Entertainment in 2006, BIGBANG have built a catalog that includes defining hits such as “Lie,” “Last Farewell,” “Haru Haru,” “FANTASTIC BABY,” and “BANG BANG BANG,” establishing a sound and performance style that would influence generations of artists that followed.

Their influence has extended far beyond music, with BIGBANG becoming cultural icons through their work in fashion, live performance, and popular culture. Their return to the stage began earlier this year with their appearance at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the United States. Their highly anticipated reunion received an explosive response from the crowd, providing a major first look at the group’s 20th anniversary celebrations before the announcement of their new world tour.

Now, BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > will carry that celebration around the world. Following the opening three shows in Goyang on August 21, 22, and 23, BIGBANG will arrive in North America for two shows at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on September 4 and 5, followed by a September 11 performance at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The tour will then continue through Paris at Stade de France on September 19 and London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 26 before traveling throughout Asia and Oceania. The schedule includes stops in Taipei, Singapore, Hanoi, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Manila, and Kaohsiung, with several cities receiving multiple performances.

With shows scheduled through February 2027, the anniversary tour gives fans around the world an opportunity to experience BIGBANG’s legacy in the same spaces where the group’s influence continues to resonate. The extensive schedule also marks a major return to the international stage for a group whose music has remained deeply connected to fans across generations.

As BIGBANG celebrates 20 years, “BiiiG” offers a look at where the group stands today while XX : COSMOS brings the celebration directly to the fans who have followed their journey. Additional projects and activities are expected throughout the anniversary year, making 2026 and 2027 a new chapter in a story that has already left an undeniable mark on K-Pop and global music.
