Pacific Music Group and Stage Zero Forge Landmark Partnership to Propel TaTa Taktumi's Global Ascent

Pacific Music Group (PMG), the Pan-Asian powerhouse founded by NE-YO, Sonu Nigam, MC Jin, and industry veteran Jonathan Serbin, continues to position itself as a vital bridge for global artists connecting with Asia, building on its mission to nurture careers that resonate across cultures. On March 24, 2026, PMG announced a landmark partnership with Stage Zero, taking on exclusive management for TaTa Taktumi across Asia and serving as her worldwide record label for all future releases. This move places TaTa—a groundbreaking hybrid artist developed under the creative direction of Grammy-winning producer Timbaland—squarely in PMG’s roster, with oversight of her strategic positioning, release campaigns, media rollout, partnerships, and long-term brand growth throughout key Asian markets.

TaTa Taktumi first emerged as a next-generation project blending cutting-edge creative technologies with unmistakable human artistry, capturing early buzz through features like a New York Times spotlight on her innovative approach. Now, PMG confirms that the real artist behind the digital persona brings Filipino heritage to the forefront, adding rich cultural depth as she steps further into the global spotlight while keeping her personal identity intentionally private. This revelation isn’t just a footnote; it frames TaTa as a powerful fusion of innovation and roots, where advanced tools amplify a genuine voice rather than overshadow it. Her affiliation with the world-renowned Las Vegas dance collective Jabbawockeez further underscores her performance-rooted vision, grounding the high-tech concept in live energy and movement.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to what PMG CEO Jonathan Serbin describes as “convergence, culture, technology, and identity coming together.” For TaTa, Asia isn’t merely a market—it’s a homecoming, a chance to reconnect with her Filipino background through music that carries those influences forward. Timbaland, speaking on Stage Zero’s process, emphasizes how the project expands traditional artist development: “At Stage Zero we are expanding that process, allowing ideas to take shape across music, visuals, and identity in real time, sometimes even in reverse order. TaTa represents a shift towards hyper creativity.” TaTa herself adds, “This project has always been about blending worlds... With Pacific Music Group, I’m excited to continue exploring what that future can look like.”

PMG’s role will kick off with upcoming releases, promotional pushes, and collaborations tailored to Asian audiences in the coming months. Founded in 2025 and headquartered in Hong Kong, the company has quickly established itself as a gateway for international talent entering the region while elevating Asian artists globally. Recent moves like launching Ghostone Records—an electronic and dance imprint led by Thai DJ 22Bullets, with rising artist Lizzy Wang as its first signing—show PMG’s range across genres and markets. For TaTa, this means access to world-class production, mentorship from icons like NE-YO and MC Jin, and a platform designed to turn cultural reconnection into widespread impact.

TaTa Taktumi stands at an intriguing crossroads: part human craft, part digital innovation, fully committed to a creative model where technology multiplies artistry rather than replacing it. As the first artist signed to Timbaland’s Stage Zero Entertainment—launched in June 2025 alongside co-founders Rocky Mudaliar and Zayd Portillo—she embodies a forward-thinking ethos that feels especially resonant in Asia’s dynamic music scene. With PMG’s support, TaTa’s journey from virtual project to global cultural force gains real momentum, inviting listeners to experience music that honors heritage, embraces experimentation, and builds connections across borders and realities.
