PENTAGON finds its way back on “Coward”
On the 11th of September, 2026 at exactly six o'clock in the evening Korean Standard Time, PENTAGON finally launched their digital single entitled "겁쟁이 (Coward)". Released several weeks before their official debut date on the 10th of October, this digital single is much more significant than any other celebratory digital single. This is because of the comeback of a group that has not dropped a new song as a complete unit in almost three years. In this period of absence from the music industry, all seven members of PENTAGON have gone off on their own ways in different creative areas under various management companies, making their future prospects highly questionable. This digital single reunites Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Kino, and Wooseok. More importantly, it is the start of a big celebration for their 10th year as a group, culminating in the "101010 (Triple Ten)" tour in Osaka, Tokyo, Seoul, and Hong Kong starting in October.
"Coward" is an artwork where the core purpose revolves around an intense feeling of emotion which is nothing but the anxiety that a person feels when there is a need to reunite with a person after an extended break. The storyline starts with hesitating to take a step in order to illustrate the emotion and slowly rises up towards the moment where the artist will have the courage to get back to that person.
