Things we love? Sharing new music and new artists with #SoundLovers! H Music Entertainment is ready to unveil the next generation of K-Pop talent with the debut of HITGS, a five-member girl group whose name signifies Hip, Innocent, Teenager, Girls, and Story.

The group features five members: SEOJIN, a dynamic dancer and rapper; SEOHEE, the powerful main vocalist; HYERIN, the group's vibrant center and visual; IYOO, the main dancer, rapper, and energetic youngest member; and VV, who enhances the group with her visual appeal and sweet vocals. As HITGS evolves—both collectively and individually—they aim to create a series of stories that represent their identity and growth. "The more those stories accumulate," they expressed, "the more you'll discover what makes us truly unique. We hope you'll join us in exploring all the facets of our charm."
HITGS is supported by a top-tier team of industry experts. Co-CEO Kanghyo Kim, with a 17-year career at Starship Entertainment—where he significantly influenced the careers of SISTAR, Boyfriend, WJSN, MONSTA X, CRAVITY, and IVE—has carefully orchestrated the group's development and debut plan. Co-CEO Hyungsik Jang led the music copyright market in Vietnam and, through acquiring Yin Yang Media and Vietnam's second-largest music streaming platform, transformed it into a leading distributor with a 30% market share. Additionally, he invested in JYP China and the JYP-Tencent Music joint venture during his time at SV Investment, a Series A investor of HYBE.

Each member contributes a distinct personality to the group. VV previously worked as an actress and model in China, attending an arts high school where she excelled in the acting entrance exam. SEOJIN, born in Seoul and raised in Busan, trained while preparing to debut with Kiss of Life. Despite her Busan roots, she speaks without an accent, and her vibrant personality reflects her birth dream of a seal. IYOO, though a Korean national, is of Zainichi Korean descent. She was discovered as a trainee at High Up Entertainment after performing as a backup dancer for STAYC at the KCON JAPAN stage. SEOHEE was once a promising rhythmic gymnast and now channels that dedication into her vocal training, with IU as her role model. HYERIN, certified in nail art, was often approached through street casting as a child, showcasing her natural star quality from a young age.
With the release of The 1st Single [Things we love : H], HITGS invites listeners into their world—filled with fresh energy, vibrant charm, and heartfelt storytelling. This debut release, featuring two songs and a music video, marks the beginning of HITGS’s journey as artists and storytellers. HITGS’s debut is produced by Ryan Jhun, a renowned K-pop producer known for hits with SHINee, Super Junior, f(x), Taeyeon, EXO, NCT, IU, TWICE, MONSTA X, and IVE.
With his expertise in creating global hits, HITGS is set to make a notable entrance onto the scene. The lead track, “SOURPATCH,” features a groovy rhythm with 808 bass, lively drum beats, and a catchy melody. The lyrics, written in a conversational style, depict the unexpected arrival of love and capture the emotional nuances of teenage life. Accompanied by a visually captivating music video, the track highlights HITGS’s distinct teenage girl charm and introduces their unique identity through sound and performance. The second track, “Never Be Me,” exudes a brighter, more confident energy. A dance-pop song with a trendy sound, it includes groovy basslines, simple beats, and an addictive chorus, resulting in a bold, feel-good anthem that showcases the group’s vocal and performance range. Together, these tracks vividly portray HITGS’s artistry: fresh, fearless, and unmistakably unique.
At the heart of HITGS’s concept is a simple yet profound message: to celebrate all things we love, whether grand and extraordinary or small and seemingly insignificant. “We want to keep talking about all those big and small things that make every day special,” the members shared.
“We hope that everyone, including us, will talk more often about the little things we love—the things that sparkle in our lives. And someday, if HITGS becomes one of those small things you love, that would mean the world to us.”
Even before their official debut, HITGS garnered industry attention, securing significant partnerships and investments. SBS, a leading television and radio broadcaster in South Korea, made an unprecedented move by investing in HITGS’s production costs prior to their debut. This collaboration resulted in a pre-debut documentary series and exclusive web variety shows, ensuring the group’s strong media presence. HITGS also formed a strategic partnership with Jam Republic The Agency, known for their choreography production and collaborations with BTS, BLACKPINK, aespa, and (G)I-DLE. They are engaging in various collaborations, from choreography lessons to performances at major events like the K-POP Music Festival.
Although these girls appear to be just beginning their journey to pursue their dreams, they are certainly a group you'll want to follow closely.
