KCON LA 2025 Presented by Olive Young delivered an unforgettable weekend, filled with electrifying performances, interactive experiences, and unforgettable moments across the convention halls, festival grounds, and stages.
Day 1: Setting the Stage with NCT 127 Dreamers and Rising Artists
KCON LA 2025 kicked off on August 1 with an electric sense of possibility as Dreamers prepared to audition for NCT 127. The Artist Stage became a hub of nerves, energy, and support, as dancers from around the globe rehearsed, gave each other pointers, and perfected their expressions before stepping under the bright lights. Each performance radiated passion, and the lucky participants selected to perform with NCT 127 experienced the thrill of realizing their dream right at KCON.
The festival grounds offered immersive experiences that perfectly complemented the stage excitement. At the Olive Young School booth, KCONers explored the latest in Korean beauty trends, while bibigo’s SEVENTEEN mural became a selfie hotspot and TikTok dance challenge hub. McDonald’s snack wrap game added playful competition, and K-Story & Comics in America offered interactive anime and webtoon fun. Starship Entertainment, NEWBEAT, and REAL: The Movie activations brought fans closer to the artists and storytelling they love.
The Busking Stage became the heartbeat of the festival as 82MAJOR, NEWBEAT, and WAY BETTER’s from20 and HELLO GLOOM captivated fans with intimate performances and interactive moments. From playful Q&A sessions to fan-submitted questions, KCONers felt the connection firsthand. The day wrapped up with Yim Siwan’s X Stage fan meet, featuring fun challenges and games that had the crowd cheering, laughing, and feeling a part of the weekend from the very start.
Day 2, August 2, kept the momentum roaring with a heart-pounding mix of Dreamers, rising artists, and iconic performances. The day began with Dreamers dressed to match MONSTA X’s “Gambler” aesthetic, perfecting every move and showing off their passion on the Artist Stage. After two rounds of intense auditions, the selected participants would later join MONSTA X for the evening Dream Stage, making the dream a reality in front of an electrified audience.
Meanwhile, NMIXX delighted fans with interactive games like Hit Drop and Lucky/Unlucky, drawing laughs, cheers, and singalongs that amplified the high-energy atmosphere. The Artist Stage showcased a mix of rising and established talent: MEOVV’s dynamic set got the crowd singing along instantly, ZEROBASEONE demonstrated polished choreography and vocal strength, JO1 brought their signature charisma, and HWASA closed the day with powerhouse vocals and electrifying stage presence.
Across the festival grounds, from20 and HELLO GLOOM took the X Stage by storm, while Baby DON’T Cry energized the Dance Stage with a triple-speed game challenge that had fans laughing and cheering. On the Busking Stage, 82MAJOR offered an intimate, interactive experience, inviting fans into games, stories, and heartwarming moments. The day crescendoed with HITGS’s high-voltage medley on the X Stage, blending hits from BTS, IVE, NCT 127, SEVENTEEN, and BLACKPINK — a thrilling celebration of K-pop’s biggest hits and rising stars. The evening concert amplified the day’s energy, with MONSTA X, MEOVV, ZEROBASEONE, HWASA, and others leaving fans buzzing with excitement.
Day 3: Final Day Fun, Dance Challenges, and Rising Artist Showcases
KCON LA 2025’s final day, August 3, began with Dreamers excitedly preparing for auditions alongside Woozi and Hoshi of SEVENTEEN. Small groups practiced choreography, ran through “trouble spots,” and polished expressions as anticipation filled the room. On stage, Dreamers performed with determination, cheered each other on, and received feedback from the duo, creating a supportive, energetic, and electric environment.
The Dance Stage brought playful energy as 82MAJOR faced off against Jollibee in a dance battle. With triple-speed challenges, flawless choreography, and big smiles from members like SEONG MO, SEONG BIN, SEOK JOON, and YE CHAN, KCONers cheered every step. Meanwhile, festival-goers explored booths like Boys Planet, Produce 101, ChiForest, and Asiana Airlines, participating in games, trivia, and photo opportunities, from creating personalized name tags to entering raffles for an all-expenses-paid trip to South Korea.
Back on the X Stage, ifeye, WAY BETTER, and NEWBEAT offered short but captivating showcases, while the Artist Stage featured CRAVITY and KEP1LER’s brief but high-energy sets. JO1 appeared for crowd and stage shots, and Izna delivered a special CJ Olive Young Girls’ Education Segment, blending performance with an inspiring message. HITGS closed out the Dance Stage with their “Shall We Dance” showcase, captivating fans with precise choreography, charisma, and energy. Later, WAY BETTER joined K Fuse for an intimate interview, giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at their journey and personalities.
