Step inside K-PLAY! FEST 2025, and you’re instantly swept up by the heartbeat of a fandom like no other—where every beat, every dance, and every smile is powered by fans, for fans. This isn’t just a festival; it’s a family reunion for K-Pop enthusiasts across North America.

K-PLAY! FEST 2025 returns August 30–31 in Orange County, with a special a powerhouse lineup! Since launching in 2022, K-PLAY! FEST has blossomed into a vibrant hub for the K-Pop community—a space fueled by passion and creativity. “We wanted to create a place where everyone feels at home,” shares festival organizer Maya Lee. “It’s not about perfection; it’s about celebrating what makes each fan unique.”
The festival’s mission is clear: share the joy of K-Pop with as many people as possible and empower everyone to BE YOUR OWN #1 FAN. Fans are no longer just consumers—they are creators and leaders shaping fandom culture worldwide.
Walking through the Anaheim Convention Center, the energy is electric yet intimate. From free dance workshops led by passionate instructors like Audrey Lane—who says, “Teaching dance here isn’t just about steps; it’s about sharing moments and memories”—to Artist Alley’s buzz of fan art, handcrafted merch, and original creations inspired by BTS, Stray Kids, and more, there’s a place for every level and every passion.
Longtime attendee Jamie sums it up perfectly: “At K-PLAY! FEST, you’re not just watching—you’re part of something bigger.”
One of the most exciting additions to this year’s festival is the participation of 1VERSE, a South Korean male group formed by Singing Beetle Entertainment as the agency’s first-ever boy band. Comprised of five members—Hyuk, Seok, Nathan, Kenny, and Aito—1VERSE first introduced their musical universe with the single “MULTIVERSE” on July 4, 2025, before officially debuting on July 18, 2025, with their first single album THE 1ST VERSE. Their name carries a poetic metaphor: “A verse of our lives, a verse in our song. Alone, we are verses; together, we make a song.” This philosophy highlights how each member brings their own story and personality, but it is their unity that creates a complete and harmonious work. As special guests at K-PLAY! FEST 2025, 1VERSE will light up the stage and share their passion with fans from August 30 to 31 in Orange County, adding fresh energy and vibrant performances to an already unforgettable festival experience.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can also look forward to engaging activities such as a bingo game, offering fun and unexpected moments alongside the music and dance festivities.
Inclusivity is paramount. As Impulse Universe puts it, “This festival offers an authentic community experience centered on what fans genuinely want from K-Lop.” No matter your dance skills or fandom depth, you’re welcomed with open arms.

One of the most anticipated moments this year is the live performance by SUNKIS, a rising voice in the independent music scene. Born in San Francisco and raised between the U.S. and Taiwan, SUNKIS (real name Song Bingqin, also known as Chris Sung) represents a new generation of bilingual, cross-cultural artists. Since his debut in 2019 with the introspective single I Could, he’s been captivating listeners with his unique blend of alternative R&B and lo-fi pop—sung in both English and Mandarin. Influenced by artists like Frank Ocean, Kehlani, and keshi, SUNKIS offers more than music; he creates emotional resonance. Known for his deep connection with fans—often stopping to chat with them in the street—he brings an authenticity to the stage that makes his performance at K-PLAY! FEST one of the most meaningful of the weekend.
Tickets range from $35 to $65, with general, VIP, and VVIP options granting access to the main stage where fan and artist energy converge. Discounted Hilton Anaheim rooms are available until August 7 for convenience.
Looking ahead, 2026 promises two LA dates and an exciting new lineup. “Every year, excitement grows because the fans themselves drive this festival,” Maya Lee adds. “It’s a community effort—every dancer, artist, and attendee shapes what K-PLAY! FEST becomes.”
One of the festival’s most remarkable traits is its multi-generational appeal. “From teens dancing to the latest hits to parents rediscovering the sounds they grew up with, K-PLAY! FEST bridges generations through shared passion,” Jamie explains.
Respect and kindness underpin the entire experience. The festival enforces zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior and encourages fans to ask permission before filming or posting content. “We want everyone to feel safe and valued,” Maya Lee stresses. Staff are approachable and visible, fostering a welcoming environment for newcomers and veterans alike.
The festival experience leaves a lasting impression. An enthusiastic attendee from the 2025 K-PLAY! FEST shared, “Outdoor festivities added to the overall vibe, making K-Play Fest a must-experience if you’re a K-pop fan or just curious about the culture.” Held at the Fairplex in Pomona, Los Angeles, the event offered an immersive and inclusive celebration of K-pop culture through dance sessions, photocard exchanges, creator meetups, and Korean art and culture experiences. But more than that, dancing, laughing, and connecting with others who love K-pop made it truly special.
Audrey Lane reflects, “This festival isn’t just about music or dance. It’s a feeling you carry long after the last song fades.” That feeling—a mix of joy, community, and youthful energy—is what makes K-PLAY! FEST more than an event; it’s a home for fans across North America.

Beyond the festival days, K-PLAY! FEST sparks new creative projects, friendships, and even careers. “I met my bandmates here,” says dancer and singer Jay. “This place gives you a chance to be seen, to belong.”
For newcomers or the hesitant, K-PLAY! FEST breaks down barriers. “You don’t need to be an expert to enjoy or participate. It’s about love for the culture and connecting with others,” Maya Lee notes.
With its grassroots origins and fan-first spirit, K-PLAY! FEST embodies the evolving face of K-pop fandom outside Korea—a celebration of music, art, and community powered by those who love it most.
