🎧 UAU IS READY TO RUN WILD — 2025 FANCON TOUR [PLAYLIST #YOU ARE YOU] HITS THE AMERICAS

What do you get when three fearless K-pop idols ditch the rulebook, embrace genre freedom, and decide to throw a fan celebration across two continents? You get UAU—unfiltered, unapologetic, and absolutely unstoppable. JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon, formerly of Dreamcatcher, are stepping boldly into a new chapter with their unit group UAU (You Are You), and this summer, they’re taking their sound on the road.

UAU officially made their debut on May 28, 2024, with the sub-unit EP Playlist #You Are You. From the very first track, it was clear they weren’t interested in mimicking anyone else—not even their own past. This wasn’t a spin-off of Dreamcatcher’s signature dark fantasy rock. This was something lighter, something braver. Their debut served up an effortless mix of Afrobeats, soft synth-pop, and jazzy piano textures. And it all came wrapped in lyrics about love, identity, self-acceptance, and growing up. It wasn’t just catchy. It was freeing. It was personal. And it was the start of a movement.

Now, with their first FanCon tour on the horizon, UAU is turning the page to something even more immersive. Titled 2025 The 1st FanCon [Playlist #You Are You] in GRAND AMERICA, the upcoming tour kicks off on July 25 in Brooklyn before heading to 13 more cities across North and Latin America. Stops include Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. After that, they’ll take the party to Mexico City, Lima, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Santiago, and Bayamón. But this isn’t your typical arena-style concert tour—it’s a curated fan celebration. A chance to connect, laugh, cry, sing, and truly engage. These shows are all about intimacy. Think small venue energy. Think storytelling, off-script banter, games, and live vocals that bring their artistry into full focus. JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon aren’t here to perform behind a veil of choreography and camera cuts. They’re here to share. To open up. To reflect. Setlists will span their debut EP, unreleased tracks, and reimagined renditions of fan-favorite Dreamcatcher songs—each night shaped into something unique. Something that can’t be replicated.

In the weeks leading up to the tour, the members have spoken openly about what UAU represents to them. JiU shared that the group wasn’t designed to stick to one concept or musical direction. "UAU is about trying different genres freely, and being brave enough to say, ‘This is me.’" For Yoohyeon, the goal is emotional connection through shared, everyday experiences—the kind you feel in comfort songs or wistful love ballads. SuA emphasized that this FanCon is a chance to meet fans not just as idols, but as real people, shedding expectations and celebrating who they are without filters. And that energy runs deep through the music. Tracks like "2 Months" and "Attitude" lean into themes of personal growth and acceptance with a sound that feels crisp, honest, and full of heart. It’s not about putting on a show—it’s about opening a door. Whether you're feeling lost or grounded, heartbroken or healed, UAU’s music reminds you that there’s room for all of it.

Fans are already rushing to grab tickets, with Studio PAV and SeeTickets powering an accessible and excitement-fueled ticketing experience. VIP and VVIP packages include hi-touch events, group photos, and exclusive merchandise that deepen the connection between artists and fans. With the online buzz already reaching a fever pitch, shows are expected to sell out fast.

More than a concert series, this tour marks the beginning of a new era. Whether you’ve followed JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon since Dreamcatcher or you’re discovering UAU for the first time, this FanCon is an invitation to be part of something bigger. To sing your lungs out. To feel understood. To dance, even when life feels uncertain. It’s not just a reintroduction—it’s a full-circle moment that acknowledges the past while embracing who they’ve become.

Because in this space, you don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be you.
