RYLAI added his own layers and wove them together in the final production process.

While some drum elements survived from the original demo, most parts were re-recorded to create a live and immediate punch.

The vocals are another standout element. What began as a straightforward recording session grew into a massive wall of sound, with 92 vocal tracks in the final mix. Faekt guided standout sections such as crowd vocals and harmonies. RYLAI stacked intricate ad-libs and background layers, while Colby fine-tuned the crowd vocals and doublings to ensure every line was locked into place. The result is a vocal production that feels both raw and cinematic, serving as the emotional centerpiece of the song.

And from Kendrick Lamar, he draws inspiration in storytelling.
