DỆT NẮNG 2025 – Weaving Sunshine with Connection and Compassion

In the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, where towering buildings cast long shadows and the pulse of daily life moves quickly, something extraordinary unfolded — a project not driven by profit, but by purpose. DỆT NẮNG 2025 (translated as Weaving Sunshine 2025) is more than meets the eye. This charity has started represents a movement of hope, compassion, and deep human connection.

At the center of the project lies “Nối” — a Vietnamese word meaning “connect.” This single word, simple yet profound, serves as both the name and soul of the campaign. The "Nối" Project, spearheaded by passionate youth and supported by the NCF (Nối Connect Foundation), aims to bridge the divide between those who struggle in silence and those who hold the means to help. Specifically, it focuses on children with disabilities, striving to provide them with more than just short-term relief — it seeks to build long-term bonds and support systems through education, engagement, and empowerment. The Nối project holds a bold and beautiful mission: to uplift children aged 5–7 who are living with disabilities, often without access to basic educational resources. Through free lessons in English and Mathematics, the team aims to lay the foundational blocks for learning — essential tools that many of us take for granted. But the project doesn’t stop at education. It also calls on the community to donate books, toys, clothes, and school supplies, ensuring that these children not only learn but also feel seen, valued, and loved. By regularly delivering these items and spending quality time with the children, the Nối team is building a more inclusive and nurturing community.

DỆT NẮNG 2025 is expected to be filled with heartwarming, high-impact events that stir generosity and joy across Ho Chi Minh City as music meets mission in a soulful evening where a mini concert will be held to bring unite attendees by one cause — to support children in difficult circumstances. In the past, this campaign has allowed volunteers to visit Long Hoa Orphanage and Phap Vo Orphanage Center, delivering both essentials and love including 1,000 kg of rice, Over 40 million VND in lì xì (lucky money), and 81 personalized gifts including cakes, candy, and milk

These visits weren’t just about giving — they were about connecting. Volunteers and children played soccer, drew pictures, wrote cards, and shared laughter and stories. These exchanges created memories that will last far beyond the days. Adding energy and excitement to the campaign's history, a friendly football tournament served as both a sporting event and a call to action. Participants competed with passion and purpose, successfully raising an additional 10 million VND.

The Nối Project isn’t just a seasonal charity effort — it's the start of a movement rooted in empathy. It dreams of becoming a lifeline for children who feel stuck, scared, or overlooked. It strives to connect lives, bridge divides, and weave sunshine where darkness has long lingered. This year's lineup of artists for DỆT NẮNG 2025 includes:

BỆT Band

With a raw, emotional edge and indie spirit, BỆT Band brings heartfelt storytelling to life through acoustic rock and folk-infused melodies. Their name ("BỆT" meaning "to sit close to the ground") reflects their grounded, intimate sound and connection with listeners.

52HZ

Named after the world’s loneliest whale, 52HZ crafts melancholic yet hopeful soundscapes. Blending dream-pop, electronic, and lo-fi vibes, their music resonates with anyone who's ever felt a little out of tune with the world.

Truant Fu

Fusing hip-hop, jazz, and funk, Truant Fu is the rebel heartbeat of the underground scene. Expect infectious beats, sharp lyricism, and a stage presence that never sits still. They're the voice of the streets—bold, unfiltered, and unapologetic.

Minh Tốc & Lam

A dynamic duo known for their soulful harmonies and poetic lyrics, Minh Tốc & Lam blend pop, R&B, and Vietnamese folk influences into a sound that feels timeless yet fresh. Pure magic when they share a mic.

WHEE!

Colorful, chaotic, and completely charming — WHEE! brings a punch of electro-pop energy to every stage. With infectious hooks and a quirky aesthetic, they’re a sonic rollercoaster you’ll want to ride again and again.

The Cassette

Retro meets modern with The Cassette. Channeling the golden age of '80s synths and vintage vibes, this band offers a nostalgic yet new-wave ride through analog dreams and danceable grooves.
