One of Japan’s most celebrated modern bands is bringing their stadium experience to the big screen in Los Angeles. Popular J-Pop group OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM has officially announced that OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM LIVE at STADIUM 2025 will screen on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood, giving North American fans a chance to experience one of the group’s most defining live productions in a cinematic format.

The film captures the final performance at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama from the band’s first-ever stadium tour, OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM LIVE at STADIUM 2025, which drew a total audience of approximately 250,000 people across the run. Known for transforming massive venues into emotionally charged shared experiences, the band brings that same atmosphere to the screen through a concert film designed to immerse audiences in the scale, emotion, and energy of the live performance.

Situated in the heart of Hollywood, the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres complex carries a long-standing legacy as one of the world’s most recognizable cinema destinations. For OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM, who recently announced their upcoming Asia tour, presenting the live film at such a historic venue marks another important step in expanding their global reach and strengthening their overseas presence. Screening the film at one of entertainment’s most iconic landmarks amplifies the experience even further, creating a rare moment where Japanese stadium-level performance meets Hollywood cinematic history.

Known affectionately by fans as “Higedan,” the four-member band has spent more than a decade building a reputation for emotionally resonant songwriting, genre-crossing musicianship, and performances that continue to connect across generations. Formed in 2012 in Shimane Prefecture, the group chose the name OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM as a reflection of their desire to create music that people would still feel excited about even when the members themselves had grown older “and could grow beards.” Over time, that idea evolved into one of the most recognizable names in contemporary Japanese music.

At the center of the band is vocalist and pianist Satoshi Fujihara, whose expressive voice and piano-driven songwriting form the emotional backbone of Higedan’s sound. Fujihara’s classical piano training continues to influence the group’s melodic structure, giving their music both technical depth and immediate emotional clarity. His ability to shift between delicate vulnerability and arena-scale power has become a defining feature of the band’s identity.

Guitarist Daisuke Ozasa brings texture and momentum to the group’s arrangements, balancing polished pop production with rock-driven energy. His playing often adds emotional lift to the band’s choruses while grounding their more experimental moments with a steady, expressive tone.

Bassist Makoto Narazaki provides much of the groove and rhythmic warmth that underpins Higedan’s genre-blending sound. His bass lines frequently draw from funk and jazz influences, helping the band maintain a sense of movement even in their most introspective songs. That rhythmic flexibility plays a key role in shaping the band’s dynamic live performances.

Drummer Masaki Matsuura completes the lineup with a performance style that combines precision with emotional intensity. Whether driving explosive stadium moments or softening transitions into quieter passages, Matsuura’s drumming helps define the band’s live pacing and overall emotional arc.

Together, the four members create a sound that blends pop, rock, jazz, soul, and piano-driven arrangements into something uniquely accessible yet musically rich. That versatility has allowed OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM to reach audiences across generations and regions, from domestic fans in Japan to global listeners discovering their music through streaming platforms and anime.

Their work has also become closely tied to major cultural touchpoints. The band has contributed theme songs to globally recognized series including Tokyo Revengers and SPY x FAMILY, further expanding their international visibility and introducing their sound to new audiences worldwide. Today, OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM continues to stand as one of Japan’s most successful modern bands, with more than 7.5 million Spotify followers, over 3.6 million YouTube subscribers, and more than 10 billion total streams across platforms. Their rise reflects not only commercial success but also a consistent ability to connect emotionally through music that feels both cinematic and deeply personal.

That emotional connection remains the defining force behind their live shows. Even in stadium-scale settings, Higedan performances retain a sense of intimacy, turning massive crowds into shared moments of unity through music. LIVE at STADIUM 2025 captures that energy at its peak, preserving the final performance of their historic tour for audiences to experience in a completely new format. For fans in Los Angeles, the screening offers a rare opportunity to witness one of Japan’s most influential modern bands inside one of Hollywood’s most iconic cinematic venues.
