  • 🎨 Chameleon In Motion: SAN-HA Shapeshifts with Genre-Bending Confidence on His Second Solo Mini Album

YOON SAN-HA isn’t just blending into the spotlight; he’s reshaping it entirely, crafting something vibrant and unmistakably his. Photo provided by fantagio With his second solo mini album CHAMELEON , the ASTRO vocalist doesn’t just add another chapter to his discography; he opens an entirely new book. This release, which dropped on July 15th, marks 11 months since his debut solo project DUSK , but rather than continuing in the same direction, CHAMELEON  flips the script. It introduces a vibrant, genre-defying soundscape and showcases an artist ready to take creative risks and grow beyond the image fans have come to know. From the moment the album begins, it's clear that SAN-HA is exploring new sonic territory with boldness and excitement. The title track, “EXTRA VIRGIN,” stands out as a striking genre mash-up, combining breezy country-inspired chord progressions with the hard-hitting rhythm of hip-hop. It’s a musical choice that surprises at first listen, but it quickly locks into place thanks to SAN-HA’s sharp vocals and natural charisma. There’s a playful edge to the song, one that invites listeners to lean in, dance a little, and embrace the unexpected. In a commentary video, he admitted this was unlike anything he’d ever tried before, describing it as mischievous and funky—and that spirit comes through loud and clear. The song feels like a declaration of freedom, an announcement that SAN-HA is ready to break rules and explore. But EXTRA VIRGIN  is only the entry point to what becomes a five-track exploration of emotion, identity, and reinvention. With “AURA,” SAN-HA brings a deeply personal touch, writing and composing the track himself. The result is a more sensual and enigmatic sound that reveals a side of him fans rarely get to see. His voice weaves through moody instrumentals with smooth precision, radiating quiet confidence and artistic maturity. It’s a track that doesn’t scream for attention—it lures you in gently, until you’re caught in its emotional pull. Then comes “Bad Mosquito,” one of the album’s most unique offerings. Told from the perspective of a mosquito, the track uses metaphor to explore the irritation and tension that often comes with one-sided affection or unshakable emotions. It’s playful, yes, but also deeply creative—an example of SAN-HA’s willingness to experiment both musically and conceptually. Dreamy production paired with rhythmic precision gives the song an almost hypnotic quality, turning an everyday nuisance into something oddly beautiful and poetic. If “Bad Mosquito” is quirky and introspective, “6PM (Nobody’s Business)” is nostalgic and smooth. With a sound that channels retro vibes through warm synths and subtle instrumentation, the song paints a picture of golden-hour stillness—the kind of song that plays in the background of summer memories. SAN-HA’s vocals glide effortlessly here, striking a delicate balance between cool detachment and raw emotion. It’s the kind of track that lingers in your mind long after the last note fades. Closing out the album on an emotional high, “Love you like fools” serves as a heartfelt message to fans who have stood by SAN-HA since his debut. Written as a fan song, the track is soaked in gratitude, its lyrics offering love and vulnerability in equal measure. “I’ll love you like a fool,” he sings, capturing that kind of reckless devotion only longtime fans can understand. It’s a beautiful, sincere thank-you, and the perfect closer to an album that explores both his growth as an artist and his enduring connection to his audience. The concept of a chameleon isn’t just a metaphor here—it’s the heart of SAN-HA’s artistic approach. In a personal reflection, he shared, “The chameleon, which changes color depending on its surroundings and blends into spaces, is similar to myself in many ways. I will show how I reinterpret any genre entirely in YOON SAN-HA’s color.” That idea threads through every track. He doesn’t lose himself in genre—he filters genre through his voice, his vision, and his lived experience. Whether he’s experimenting with funky rhythms, soulful ballads, or retro synths, he remains grounded in a clear sense of identity. SAN-HA Solo Tour PRISM: FROM Y TO A (tour poster) Beyond the music, SAN-HA’s solo chapter is expanding in every direction. In August, he will kick off his first solo fan-con tour, PRISM: from Y to A , beginning in Seoul and traveling to cities across Asia and Latin America. This tour marks a major milestone for SAN-HA as he steps out on his own to meet fans worldwide, ready to perform not just as ASTRO’s maknae, but as a soloist in full bloom. And the excitement doesn’t stop there—he’ll also return to the small screen in the KBS2 drama My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy , playing the role of Park Yoon-jae. The drama premieres on July 23, adding another layer to an already jam-packed summer. July is proving to be a season of nonstop SAN-HA. His promotional schedule around CHAMELEON  has included everything from teaser content and visual drops to interactive fan events. A special pop-up store opened on release day, giving fans a tactile, immersive experience with the album. He’s also shared a fan chant guide for “EXTRA VIRGIN,” ensuring that performances will be filled with energy, unity, and the same spirit of fun the track embodies. Every move he makes this month is about connection—between artist and listener, between SAN-HA and the many sides of himself. Celebrating his 10th anniversary in the industry, YOON SAN-HA is making it clear that this is only the beginning of a new era. CHAMELEON  captures the essence of an artist unafraid to explore, to evolve, and to surprise. It’s an invitation to see him not just as ASTRO’s youngest, but as a soloist with a limitless future. With each release, each concept, and each stage, SAN-HA is coloring the world in his own way—and fans are here for every shade of it.   CHAMELEON  is now streaming on all major music platforms. Catch him live at PRISM: from Y to A starting in August. Don’t miss SAN-HA’s return to acting in My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy, premiering July 23 on KBS2.

  • From Queens to Manila: A 4th of July OPM Showcase Lights Up NYC at SOB’s

The Subway Series was alive and well. While the Mets and Yankees went head-to-head at Citi Field and fireworks burst above the Brooklyn Bridge, another kind of celebration was brewing downtown. The streets of New York were buzzing with sound—Spanish, hip-hop, laughter, the crackle of fireworks—and the familiar aroma of hot dogs and grilled burgers filled the air. But instead of staying out in the heat, we headed off on a different kind of July 4th adventure—one that would take us halfway across the world without leaving Manhattan. David Reyeg; Photo by Leo Just before midnight, SOB’s (Sounds of Brazil) transformed into something magical. Not quite the Filipino neighborhoods of Queens where the food and culture feel like home, but something more fleeting, more electric. For one night only, SOB’s became a pocket of Manila, with music as the bridge between worlds. This wasn’t just a concert—it was an OPM homecoming. Artists from across the Philippines took the stage to bring the soul of their country to a city that always has room for more stories, more sounds, and more heart. The night opened with David Reyeg, an up-and-coming alt-rock artist, and his band. From the second they hit the stage, their energy was off the charts. David’s vocals were raw and passionate, and the chemistry between him and his bandmates was undeniable. You could tell this wasn’t just a performance—it was a release. Their music moved like a wave through the crowd, instantly drawing us in. There were no frills, no pretense—just a group of musicians pouring their hearts out in every riff and beat. It was the perfect way to kick off the night, and they left the room buzzing. Then, as if the switch had been flipped, Silent Sanctuary took the stage—and the entire mood shifted. The six-member band—Raymund, Anjo, Allen, Kim, Roonie, and Poch—didn’t just play songs; they told stories. The moment the first notes rang out, the crowd surged forward, phones in the air, voices ready to sing every word. And they did. Hits like “Ikaw Lamang”  and “Kundiman”  were met with instant recognition, and for those few minutes, we weren’t just in New York—we were in a packed bar somewhere in Quezon City, surrounded by old friends and familiar feelings. Silent Sanctuary; photo by Leo Raymund, ever the showman, took moments between songs to joke with the crowd, sing “Happy Birthday”  to audience members, and play a light-hearted name game. But the emotional weight of their music still lingered, especially during the instrumental moments—when cello and violin wrapped around each other, and the air in SOB’s turned thick with nostalgia. Whether you understood every lyric or not, you felt  them. You felt what they meant. But it was Maki who closed out the night with a set that was as intimate as it was explosive. The second he stepped on stage, the room lit up. His fans—Filipino families, Gen Zers, even curious first-time listeners—welcomed him with the kind of warmth that could only come from deep connection. Between songs, Maki spoke to the crowd—not as a performer, but as a friend. He talked about heartbreak, betrayal, and the kind of emotional bruises that only time (and maybe a good song) can heal. The crowd listened closely, knowing those stories all too well. When he sang “Dilaw,”   “Bughaw,”  and “Bakit,”  the entire room was in sync—swaying, singing, reaching for the kind of catharsis only music can offer. He even included a cover, giving the audience something familiar and deeply heartfelt. Every note felt intentional, every word a little confession. By the time he reached his final chorus, it was clear: Maki wasn’t just performing. He was sharing himself. Maki; photo by Leo As the final notes echoed through the venue and the lights dimmed, I realized I hadn’t just watched a show. I had felt  it. SOB’s had become more than a venue—it was a memory, one that instantly transported me to the times I spent in Manila with my partner and her family. The warmth, the community, the late-night karaoke, the shared food, the feeling of belonging—that same spirit was alive in that room. This night wasn’t about production or spectacle. It was about heart. About showing how powerful Filipino music can be when it’s given space to breathe and be heard. A reminder that OPM, like K-pop or J-pop, is more than a genre—it’s a lifeline for a community scattered around the world but still connected by the music they grew up with. So if you weren’t there this time, don’t worry—there will be more. Because if this night proved anything, it’s that the Filipino music scene has the power, talent, and soul to make the world listen. And next time? You’ll want to be in the crowd. For now, check out our full photo gallery !

  • 🥂 From Maknae to Main Event: KANG YUCHAN Pops Off in Solo Debut “Champagne Poppin’”

The champagne has officially been popped—and KANG YUCHAN is stepping boldly into his solo era. On July 10, 2025, A.C.E ’s youngest member made his highly anticipated solo debut with the single “Champagne Poppin’,” a bold, stylish track that makes one thing clear: this isn’t just a side project—it’s a full-on transformation. Known for his bright stage energy and boy-next-door charm within the group, Yuchan now unveils a more mature, edgier image—complete with a confident smirk, sharp moves, and a dangerously addictive beat. “Champagne Poppin’” blends the pulse of UK garage with the slickness of modern dance-pop, resulting in a rhythm-heavy track that’s impossible not to move to. The sound is layered and polished, but also carries a sense of freedom—there’s space in the production for Yuchan to flirt, flex, and finesse every note. The song’s rhythm hits hard, but it’s the lyrics that linger. With lines like “I love it when you doubt me,”  Yuchan plays with vulnerability and ego in a way that feels fresh and provocative. He contributed to the songwriting himself, adding a personal layer to an already compelling debut. The track’s overall sonic direction was shaped by the powerhouse producing duo HELLO GLOOM and dogshampoo, both under his new label WAY BETTER, whose signature sleekness and edge give the single a distinct flavor that sets it apart from the usual solo idol fare. Matching the intensity of the track is the music video, directed by artist and visual director from20 . Known for his cinematic style and dynamic framing, from20 crafts a visual that feels like both a high-fashion film and a late-night fever dream. Yuchan doesn’t just perform—he inhabits every scene with a cool, unwavering presence. From shadow-lit rooftop moments to strobe-lit dance cuts, the video captures his shift from group member to full-blown soloist with total clarity. Adding even more star power to the screen is international fashion model Park Heejung, whose effortless charisma plays perfectly alongside Yuchan’s growing magnetism. The chemistry between the two adds a thrilling tension, pushing the concept of the video from slick to unforgettable. The choreography—sharp, fluid, and confidently restrained—comes from Wootae, who fans will recognize from MNET’s Street Man Fighter . Rather than overloading the routine with fast tricks or flashy moves, Wootae’s choreography leans into controlled precision. Every beat hits with purpose. Every movement tells you: this is a man who knows who he is. For Yuchan, it’s a chance to show that performance doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful. It's a showcase of his physical control and evolving artistic identity—and fans are here for it. But while this single may feel like a sudden turn for casual listeners, long-time fans know KANG YUCHAN has been building toward this moment for years. He debuted in 2017 as the youngest member of A.C.E, quickly catching attention for his stage energy, charisma, and distinct vocal color. In 2018, he entered the competitive survival show The Unit  and earned a spot as a finalist, later joining the project group UNB and expanding his fanbase further. As if that wasn’t enough, he also made waves as an actor—most notably for his breakout role as Son Bohyun in the beloved web drama Twenty-Twenty , where his performance earned praise for its emotional depth and nuance. In 2025, he took yet another leap—making his musical theatre debut in The Anarchist , showcasing his versatility as a performer who thrives across genres and formats. Each chapter in his career so far has shown a new side of Yuchan, but this solo debut marks a defining pivot. According to a representative from WAY BETTER , the team behind his new era, “KANG YUCHAN is an artist with limitless potential to evolve from an idol into a true artist and global pop star. Starting with this solo debut, he will showcase his unique worldview and performance style to audiences around the world.” And with “Champagne Poppin’,” he’s doing just that—balancing sleek visuals with bold vocals, crafting his own lyrics, and stepping into a new creative lane with confidence. His first live solo performance of “Champagne Poppin’” is set to take place this August at KCON LA , one of the largest global stages for K-pop artists and rising soloists alike. The anticipation is building—and with a debut this strong, it’s safe to say all eyes will be on Yuchan when he hits that stage. You can experience it for yourself by watching the full music video for “Champagne Poppin’” on YouTube and streaming the single on all major platforms. Whether you’ve followed KANG YUCHAN since his debut days or you’re just discovering his artistry now, this solo debut is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter for him!

  • When the Crowd Sings With You: Morissette & Darren Espanto Kick Off “The Showstoppers” US Tour in Stafford, TX

Before the first note was even sung, the Immanuel Theater in Stafford, Texas, was alive with the buzz of anticipation—from toddlers to titas, everyone had come together for one unforgettable reason: to witness the powerhouse pairing of Morissette and Darren Espanto. On a warm night in Stafford, Texas, the lobby of the Immanuel Theater buzzed with a rare kind of excitement. Adults, kids, parents, and even grandparents filtered in, many dressed in their Sunday best, others wearing casual shirts repping their favorite Filipino artists. The reason? The U.S. kickoff of The Showstoppers —a co-headlined tour starring two of the Philippines’ most beloved vocalists: Morissette Amon and Darren Espanto. Photo by JT The atmosphere was instantly electric. This wasn’t just a night out—it was a celebration of talent, roots, and cultural pride, shared by a community that spans generations. The audience wasn’t just watching a show. They were part of it. From the moment the lights dimmed and both Morissette and Darren took the stage together, there was no mistaking what kind of experience this would be. They opened with a high-energy duet, full of vocal riffs, synchronized steps, and playful chemistry. The crowd erupted. Laughter, cheers, and a whole lot of phones went up to capture the magic. The performers didn’t just deliver a setlist—they created a space where every person felt included. They encouraged the audience to sing along if they knew the lyrics, and to stand up and dance if the rhythm moved them. And it did. The energy was contagious. Couples danced in the aisles, friends swayed in their seats, and children clapped with pure joy. The vibe was intimate yet electrifying. Midway through the night, Morissette slowed things down with a tribute to traditional Filipino songs. She introduced this section with a smile, gently inviting the crowd to sing along with her—especially those who grew up hearing these melodies at family parties or through a grandparent’s radio. Dressed in an elegant gown, she stood in a soft spotlight and performed “Akin Ka Na Lang”  with such raw emotion that the theater felt like it was holding its breath. The song, which translates to “Please Be Mine,”  became more than a love ballad—it became a shared moment of vulnerability and nostalgia. Photo by JT What made it even more special was Morissette’s joyful surprise when she noticed young kids in the crowd singing along to these Tagalog lyrics. Her eyes lit up as she waved, smiled, and shared the mic with front-row fans. She even stepped off the stage to move through the audience, dancing, singing, and taking selfies with fans mid-performance. The result? A completely unscripted, unforgettable connection between artist and audience. She didn’t just give a show—she created a memory. Darren Espanto followed with a performance that could only be described as explosive. Dressed in sharp stagewear and radiating charisma, he delivered a medley that included Imagine Dragons’ “Bones” and Queen’s “Somebody to Love”—a bold, genre-spanning set that showcased both his vocal stamina and natural flair for dance. He hit every note, every move, and every emotion with confidence, quickly proving why he remains one of the most dynamic performers of his generation. The crowd’s energy reached a new high when Darren launched into his hit single “Bibitaw Na,”  encouraging everyone to sing the chorus with him. Fans didn’t need to be asked twice. It became a call-and-response moment, with voices from every corner of the theater echoing his lyrics. Darren commanded the stage like a seasoned showman, but never lost the playful spark that first won over fans during his Voice Kids  days. Photo by JT But perhaps the most powerful moment came when the two artists reunited onstage for a medley of iconic Broadway show tunes, including selections from Wicked  and Phantom of the Opera . This section was a masterclass in vocal harmony. Their voices didn’t just blend—they elevated each other. They traded verses, built crescendos, and locked eyes during emotional peaks. It was dramatic, theatrical, and vocally breathtaking. It reminded everyone present that both Morissette and Darren aren’t just pop stars—they’re powerhouse performers capable of commanding global stages. As the night drew to a close, they returned to upbeat hits—encouraging the audience to crowd near the stage, dance freely, and lose themselves in the final songs. There was no room for shyness. Fans waved their hands, sang their hearts out, and gave standing ovations. It was clear that no one wanted the night to end. When the lights dimmed for the final time and Morissette and Darren took their bows, a chorus of cheers and heartfelt goodbyes followed them offstage. For many in the room, this wasn’t just a concert—it was a celebration of home, hope, and community. 📸 Relive the magic from Stafford—check out our full photo gallery from the event

  • Season 2 Begins: Queenz Eye Reintroduces Themselves With a Fresh Lineup and Even Bolder Vision

It’s a new chapter for Queenz Eye, and this one’s already turning heads. Originally debuting in 2022 with the addictive and stylish single “Yummy Yummy,”  the girl group is now entering what they’re calling “Season 2”—a bold and refreshing reboot featuring a six-member lineup, new faces, and a more mature artistic direction. After nearly two years of quiet anticipation, the group is ready to step back into the spotlight, not just with a fresh image, but with renewed purpose. On July 7 at 6 PM KST, Queenz Eye began their member reveal rollout by dropping the first official profile photos of leader and original member Won Chae, alongside new member Seo Vin, through their official social media platforms. The photos introduced a softer, more natural concept—both idols dressed simply in white T-shirts and jeans, their visuals pared down to highlight authenticity. It was a clean slate kind of look, and one that immediately got fans talking. With calm expressions and relaxed poses, the concept felt like a message: Queenz Eye isn’t starting over, they’re starting fresh. The group’s label, Big Entertainment, confirmed that sentiment, stating, “Just as a well-crafted work deserves a sequel, Queenz Eye will be showing an even more mature side of themselves in Season 2. Please look forward to the upcoming member reveals and the diverse activities we have planned.”  That line—“a well-crafted work deserves a sequel”—says a lot about how this next era is being approached. It’s not a reintroduction. It’s a continuation of something already meaningful—only now, there’s more story to tell. Among the first to be introduced is Won Chae, one of Queenz Eye’s original members and now officially named the group’s leader. Fans who have followed Queenz Eye from debut will instantly recognize her powerful stage presence, polished vocals, and unwavering dedication. Over the past few years, Won Chae has quietly become the emotional core of the group—someone who doesn’t just perform the songs, but embodies  them. She has played a major role in shaping the group’s identity, not just through talent, but through resilience and heart. Her leadership in Season 2 feels earned, and there’s a comforting sense of continuity in seeing her at the forefront once again. Standing beside her is Seo Vin, the group’s newly revealed member, who brings her own kind of magic to the table. Previously known by her birth name, Lee Soovin, she first captured public attention as a contestant on SBS’s girl group audition program UNIVERSE TICKET.  From the moment she appeared on screen, Seo Vin stood out—not just for her radiant visuals, but for her sunny personality and infectious energy. Her smile lights up the room, and her vocals carry a clean, expressive charm that already feels like a perfect fit for Queenz Eye’s evolving sound. Her addition to the group doesn’t just mark a new beginning—it injects new color, new texture, and a fresh sense of chemistry. Photo provided by Big Entertainment To accompany the reveal, both members released solo cover videos—an opportunity not just to introduce themselves visually, but to showcase their musical strengths. And both delivered in their own distinct ways. Won Chae took on LEE HI’s “1.2.3.4,” and her performance was nothing short of commanding. She didn’t simply mimic the original—she reinterpreted it. Her version felt grounded and self-assured, balancing vocal power with controlled restraint. There’s an elegance in her phrasing, a confidence in her delivery, and a subtle edge in how she navigates the rhythm. It’s a reminder that while new elements are entering the picture, the foundation of Queenz Eye remains solid—especially with Won Chae leading the way. Seo Vin, meanwhile, charmed viewers with her rendition of JOY’s “Introduce Me a Good Person.” The song choice was smart—gentle, sweet, and emotionally transparent. Seo Vin handled it with grace, allowing her voice to float softly across each lyric. What stood out most wasn’t just her tone, but her expression. There’s a warmth in the way she connects with the camera, a vulnerability that feels sincere. If her cover is any indication of what she’ll bring to the group, fans can expect a new layer of emotional intimacy in Queenz Eye’s upcoming music. These two videos didn’t just introduce members—they set the tone for what’s to come. This next era of Queenz Eye isn’t about making noise for attention. It’s about creating a vibe that lingers. One that’s built on real talent, honest charm, and a readiness to grow. While only two members have been revealed so far, the anticipation for the rest is growing fast. The rollout strategy—revealing members one by one, slowly building momentum—feels intentional. It allows fans to focus on each individual, to celebrate their uniqueness, and to prepare for the chemistry that will come when the full six-member lineup is unveiled. It’s not just marketing—it’s thoughtful storytelling. What Queenz Eye is doing with Season 2 is more than just a rebrand. It’s a message to fans, old and new, that they’re not afraid to evolve. That growth is not a break from the past—but an extension of it. They’re not replacing who they were—they’re expanding on who they’ve always been. And that’s what makes this moment exciting. It’s not just about a comeback—it’s about a continuation. A deeper dive into who Queenz Eye really is, and who they’re becoming. Whether you’ve been following them since the “Yummy Yummy”  days or you’re just now getting to know them through these profile drops, there’s one thing you can count on: Queenz Eye is stepping into this new chapter with clarity, charisma, and a vision you’ll want to watch unfold. • “It’s That Instant Click That Matters”: OX:N Steps Out with a Softer, Bolder Sound in Debut EP ‘N’

What happens when four of K-pop’s most dynamic performers break away from the pack—but bring every ounce of their experience with them? The result is OX:N , the first official subunit of OMEGA X, and they’re stepping into the spotlight with something more than just another project. With N , their debut EP, Jaehan , Jehyun , Xen, and Yechan introduce a refined, emotionally-charged sound that blends past, present, and future into one captivating story. For longtime fans and new listeners alike, OX:N isn’t just rewriting the narrative—they’re building an entirely new world. For years, OMEGA X has built a solid reputation for their fierce choreography, commanding vocals, and no-holds-barred performance energy. As an 11-member group, they've stayed consistent in their sonic identity—one that fans know and love for its intensity. But in 2025, something new is taking shape. Four of the group’s members—Jaehan, Jehyun, Xen, and Yechan—are branching out to form a subunit called OX:N , and with it comes a fresh artistic vision. While still connected to the group’s roots, OX:N explores new emotional landscapes and musical directions, bridging the past, present, and future with intention. The members’ rich histories in previous groups and projects make them no strangers to change. Their chemistry is grounded not just in talent, but in resilience. In response to a question from K Fuse about how OX:N differentiates itself from the larger Omega X sound, Yechan explained, “ It seems like a lot of people become fans based on an instant, intuitive feeling that clicks with them. We're constantly studying and exploring what draws people in, how to make that immediate impression, and how to give off the kind of good energy that naturally attracts people. That's our goal .” That goal is evident in the group’s debut EP, “N” , which is a bold step forward in both style and substance. With three of the five tracks fully in English, the subunit shows a clear desire to engage more deeply with international fans, offering something familiar yet distinctly personal. The EP opens with “ Suit and Tie ,” a track that sets the tone with a sleek, confident exterior that slowly peels back to reveal emotional tension beneath. On the surface, the song plays with the traditional image of “suit and tie” as a symbol of control and poise. But OX:N twists the narrative—what begins as a show of outward confidence soon gives way to inner chaos. The lyrics tell the story of someone trying to maintain composure, resisting the urge to fully express their feelings. Driven by a tight guitar riff and pulsing percussion, the track evolves as the members’ vocals build and intertwine. By the end, they abandon restraint, letting go of the polished control they began with. The result is a layered performance full of raw vocal runs and dynamic interplay between the members, making “ Suit and Tie ” a perfect metaphor for both the song’s emotional arc and the subunit’s artistic intention. Following that bold opening is “ You ,” the EP’s title track and perhaps the most instantly nostalgic of the bunch. With its early 2000s boy band energy, the track recalls icons like NSYNC  and Backstreet Boys , channeling their emotional directness and pop polish. The falsetto runs and harmonized high notes add a dreamy, breathless quality that enhances the song’s core theme—falling completely under someone’s spell. Lyrically, it captures the overwhelming feeling of being consumed by love, of doing everything—even breathing—for someone else. Each member contributes airy, whispered tones that heighten the track’s atmosphere of infatuation. The music video leans into a polished, boyfriend-style aesthetic that’s clean, soft, and dangerously charming. It invites the viewer to relax, be serenaded, and ultimately fall under the same spell the members sing about. With “ You ,” OX:N captures both the energy of classic pop and the emotional vulnerability that K-pop fans crave. It’s an instant standout. The next track, “ Let Me In ,” pivots toward a deeper emotional register, focusing on longing, regret, and emotional vulnerability. As Xen explained to K Fuse, the lyrics are intentionally direct—they’re a heartfelt plea to be allowed back into someone’s life. The repetition of lines in both Korean and English reinforces the desperation in the request. The instrumentation here is more sensual, with a moody tone that mirrors the song’s emotional plea. The members’ voices layer like a siren’s call, alluring and intense, drawing the listener in even as they describe unraveling emotions. The chorus builds slowly, then surges into a climax filled with aching vocals and lyrical urgency. “ Let Me In ” is the kind of track that lingers, especially in moments when you’re nursing your own regrets. It’s emotionally rich and vocally captivating, a true showcase of the group’s ability to balance vulnerability with musical control. Then comes “ Orpheus ,” a refreshing shift in energy that feels like sunlight after a storm. Inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, the song speaks to a love that transcends time and space. Where other tracks on the album explore tension and uncertainty, “ Orpheus ” offers hope and reassurance. The upbeat rhythm and melodic phrasing lift the mood, bringing a sense of peace and emotional security. The vocals are warm, sincere, and open-hearted—an invitation to believe in a love that defies doubt, distance, and the world’s judgment. It’s a track that feels like a promise, made not only to a lover but to the listener themselves. In a landscape where vulnerability often takes the spotlight, a song that exudes steadfast love feels both bold and comforting. “Orpheus” is an anthem for anyone who needs a reminder that love—real love—holds fast, even in chaos. Finally, the EP closes with “ Cause of You ,” a love letter dedicated to fans. This track shares some of the same warmth and optimism as “Orpheus,” but it’s directed toward the community that has stood by the members through every twist and turn. The lyrics are filled with gratitude and emotional honesty. Lines like, “The reason I smile, it’s because you’re by my side”  and “I’ve waited for a long time, the moment you and I finally meet,”  reflect the kind of deep fan-artist bond that doesn’t come easily—it’s been earned through shared time, hardships, and unwavering support. Musically, the track plays with pop-alt textures. The choruses swell with harmony, while the verses strip things back, giving space for the words to breathe. When asked by K Fuse about which emotions are hardest to express in music, Xen responded, “I think expressing joy or excitement is actually pretty difficult. I feel like those emotions can't be faked. Unless I'm genuinely thrilled in the moment, it wouldn't come across naturally. So those two emotions are the hardest for me to show.” But “Cause of You” radiates genuine joy, written and performed with the fans in mind. It's honest, heartfelt, and a fitting conclusion to a debut EP that’s all about connection. As OX:N  embarks on this exciting new journey, there’s no doubt they’ll continue to challenge expectations, push boundaries, and bring fans along every step of the way. This isn’t just a subunit—it’s a fully realized artistic project driven by passion, gratitude, and evolution. If “N”  is any indication, OX:N has found their voice—and they’re only just beginning. Follow OX:N and stay in the loop with everything they’ve got coming your way, #SoundLovers.

Debuting on November 1, 2023, under Evermore Entertainment, the five-member “youth pop rock” band arrived with a promise: to capture the emotions, chaos, and beauty of growing up—and to turn those feelings into music that resonates. Their debut EP, Fragments of Youth , was a powerful introduction, packed with raw energy, melodic sincerity, and a strong sense of identity that stood out in an industry that often leans toward polished perfection. The band is made up of five incredibly talented members: Sani, the bassist and leader who brings calm focus and emotional grounding to the group; Jungmo, the drummer whose dynamic rhythms keep the energy pulsing; Kihoon, the guitarist and vocalist with an expressive tone that feels both tender and grounded; Namhyun, the main vocalist whose voice serves as the band’s emotional center; and Junyong, the keyboardist and maknae, adding color and depth to their arrangements. Since debut, Catch The Young has steadily built their presence through sincerity and sound. Their sophomore release, Fragments of Odyssey , and their reinterpretation of Mono’s nostalgic hit “You, Always (2025)” showed their ability to grow without losing their roots. Reflecting on that artistic evolution, Sani shared: “We felt like our first release had a strong focus on showing who we are as a band and introducing our identity. But since then, we've been continuing to make music and perform live, and I think our sound is becoming more and more defined.”  That sense of growth is woven throughout their newest digital single, “이상형 (Ideal Type),” which was released on June 26, 2025. Ideal Type  is a charming and breezy listen that feels like the start of summer. It’s not flashy or explosive—instead, it draws you in with warmth, melody, and just the right touch of nostalgia. From the first few seconds, it feels like stepping into a memory: soft sun, a flicker of butterflies, and the universal thrill of wondering whether someone could be the one. But the meaning runs deeper than that. “With the song ‘Ideal Type,’ we hope listeners can enjoy it by imagining their own ideal type,”  Namhyun explained. “But at the same time, the title can go beyond just a person—it can also represent following and pursuing your dreams or hopes, which can give some encouragement to everyone.” To bring that warmth and wonder to life visually, the band leaned into a travel diary-like concept for the music video. When asked about the inspiration behind the sunlit visuals, K Fuse sat down with the group and asked: K Fuse:  The music video shows you on a field trip—grassy plains, a lighthouse, sunlit road trips. What inspired this visual concept, and how does it reflect the song’s message? Sani shared openly: “After the song was made, the overall vibe of the music video was pretty clear. Since the track itself is bright and refreshing, the music video naturally took on that same energy by being students going on a trip with friends, which felt like the best way to express that freshness.” He also noted how personal touches helped shape the shoot: “One of the filming locations, the schoolyard, is actually a place where Namhyun used to play a lot as a kid, so it added a personal touch. We also filmed at the guesthouse since it was a trip with friends. To be honest, the sunset scene wasn't part of the original plan, but filming went later than expected, and it ended up fitting well. I think we managed to keep that youthful and breezy concept throughout the video, and it matched the song perfectly. Although the filming was a bit tiring, I'm happy with how it all turned out.” That idea of youth in motion  is exactly what the track delivers. Musically, Ideal Type  strikes a beautiful balance between synth-pop brightness and indie rock soul. It’s upbeat without being overwhelming, and sentimental without being heavy. Vocally, the band leans into softness—layered harmonies and phrasing that feels more like confession than performance. The chorus doesn’t explode, it floats—leaving a bigger impact on listeners as they relate their own experiences to the song. When asked to describe the band’s mood right now, using three words inspired by the song’s vibe , the members offered a set of words that felt as true as the music itself: Namhyun quickly replied, “Energy.” to which Jungmo agreed. Kihoon, Junyong, and Namhyun all quickly agreed on, “Youth!” Kihoon thoughtfully added, “First love?” to which Junyong nodded, wrapping it up perfectly: “First love, youth, and energy.” Kihoon summed it up beautifully: “We hope that when people see us, it feels like falling in love for the first time, they gain energy as they watch our performances, and experience youth together with us.” That passion extends far beyond the surface. Catch The Young isn’t trying to fit into a mold—they’re building a bridge between generations through sound. “Our motto as a band is to create music that can resonate with all generations,”  they said. “We're blending rock elements that older generations can enjoy with pop elements that appeal to younger listeners to ultimately make music that brings different age groups together through sound that everyone can connect with.” Their creative sincerity and youthful storytelling are exactly what make a song like Ideal Type  feel timeless. It’s breezy enough for a summer drive and nostalgic enough for late-night journaling. And even in its simplicity, it reflects the group’s ongoing artistic ambition. “Since it's our first album, but not our first digital release, we're putting in our best effort to make it as strong as possible,”  Sani shared. “We're adding a lot of new elements to try things we haven't done before and to show sides of ourselves that fans haven't seen yet.” Still, they’re not chasing perfection. They’re chasing meaning—and memories. As Kihoon said, “If I were to describe our group, especially to people around our age, I'd say we're a team that grows together, creating music that feels like youth. We want to make songs that, when you look back one day, feel like cherished memories. At the same time, we want to be a group that does music that moves forward into the future and can grow and journey with.” And that’s the heart of Ideal Type . It’s not just about finding someone—it’s about finding yourself along the way. It’s the sound of a band growing up with their audience, writing songs you’ll one day look back on and say, “That was the soundtrack to when everything was starting.” Catch The Young isn’t just catching ears—they’re catching memories.

  • YOON SAN-HA Is Changing the Game As He Shows Into Every Shade on CHAMELEON

From sweet-faced rookie to full-fledged soloist, YOON SAN-HA has grown right before our eyes—and now, he’s showing us just how many sides of himself he’s ready to reveal. Spoiler alert: it’s a lot, and we’re absolutely here for it. Photos by fantagio On June 23, SAN-HA kicked off the official countdown to his second solo mini album with the release of a beautifully haunting mood film for CHAMELEON . The video, posted to Fantagio’s official social channels and YouTube, immediately set a cinematic tone—soft lighting, moody shadows, and a quiet intensity that made fans pause and say, “Wait… this is SAN-HA?” It’s been 11 months since his solo debut with DUSK , and while that project gave us a gentle introduction to his artistry outside of ASTRO, CHAMELEON  feels like a whole new chapter. This time, SAN-HA isn’t just stepping into the spotlight—he’s rewriting what it means to be in it. He’s not waiting for direction anymore. He is  the direction. Let’s take it back for a second—because SAN-HA’s story didn’t start here. He made his official debut on February 28, 2016 as the lovable maknae of ASTRO, alongside MJ, JinJin, Cha Eun-woo, Moonbin, and Rocky. Their first single, “Hide & Seek” , introduced fans to a group overflowing with charm—and SAN-HA quickly stood out with his bright energy and one-of-a-kind voice. Clear, emotional, and instantly recognizable, his vocals had their own sparkle. Over the years, he didn’t just stick to music. SAN-HA’s goofy personality and warmth made him a favorite on variety shows, and he built his acting resume with roles in dramas like To Be Continued  (2015) and Crazy Love  (2021). Whether he was being playful or serious, fans always knew one thing for sure: SAN-HA’s heart was always 100% in it. CHAMELEON Concept Photos by fantagio But in August 2023, he surprised us all by turning inward—with DUSK , his first solo mini album. Soft ballads and reflective melodies filled the tracklist, and the visuals matched: cozy, minimalist, and full of raw emotion. The project felt like reading someone’s journal by candlelight—personal, vulnerable, and comforting in the quietest way. SAN-HA let us into his world for the first time, and it left fans wondering: What’s next? Well, CHAMELEON  is what’s next—and this time, he’s turned the volume all the way up. Starting in early July, SAN-HA began revealing concept photos for the new album, and they were nothing short of breathtaking. He didn’t stop at just one vibe—instead, he gave us four bold, totally different versions, each with its own personality. Each version of CHAMELEON  brings out a completely different mood and color from YOON SAN-HA, starting with EXHALE , which showed him at his softest and most serene. Dreamy and introspective, this version captured SAN-HA in a delicate light—emotional and almost weightless, like a quiet moment just before sunrise. Then came INEXORABLE , a total contrast in tone. With sharp silhouettes, a piercing gaze, and intense styling, this version felt dark, cinematic, and bold—a transformation that pulled SAN-HA into full dramatic mode. EXCURSION , on the other hand, brought a refreshing burst of energy. It gave off carefree, road trip vibes with a breezy and youthful feel, full of playful charm and movement. Finally, there was INCHOATE —an abstract, almost surreal version of SAN-HA that felt like a metaphor for artistic rebirth. With dreamy visuals and a sense of mystery, it hinted at new beginnings, like standing right at the edge of something extraordinary. CHAMELEON s not just about trying on looks—it’s about shifting the energy and allowing yourself to be  more than one thing. SAN-HA isn’t choosing one version of himself. He’s choosing all  of them. Then on June 26, the official track list was revealed—and it was full of surprises. The album includes five songs: EXTRA VIRGIN  (Title Track) AURA Bad Mosquito 6PM (Nobody’s Business) Love you like fools In his album commentary, SAN-HA said: CHAMELEON Highlight Medley “This album will showcase a completely different transformation from my previous work. With a variety of styles in one album, listeners will experience a new side of YOON SAN-HA. I plan on showing many different charms, to meet everyone’s expectations.” And we can already tell he means it. Just reading the track list is a ride. “Bad Mosquito”? That title alone has us so  curious. It sounds like it could be funky, chaotic, or totally unexpected—maybe even all three. On the flip side, “6PM (Nobody’s Business)” feels like it’s going to break our hearts in the most beautiful way. And then there’s the title track, “EXTRA VIRGIN,” which seems to hold the center of the album together—a refined blend of R&B, pop, and SAN-HA’s emotional voice at its strongest. For longtime AROHA, this comeback is more than just a new album—it’s watching someone we’ve loved for years step into his own story. SAN-HA, who once felt like the little brother of ASTRO, is now confidently carving out his space as a soloist. He’s experimenting. He’s growing. And he’s doing it all in a way that feels true to him. And if you’re just discovering him now? CHAMELEON  is honestly the perfect place to start. It’s got the softness fans know and love—but it also brings bold new flavors, unexpected turns, and a much deeper emotional palette. Just like a chameleon, SAN-HA is showing us he can shift, adapt, and thrive—while staying completely himself. ✨ YOON SAN-HA’s second solo mini album CHAMELEON releases on July 15 at 6PM KST on all major streaming platforms. ✨

  • CHARIZZMA CHECK: HITGS Turns Up the Heat with Their Boldest Era Yet

K-Pop’s newest firestarters, HITGS , are stepping into the spotlight once again—this time with even more flair, attitude, and unstoppable energy. With the release of their third single, “CHARIZZMA,” the five-member girl group proves they’re not just part of the next wave of K-Pop—they’re boldly leading it. Their trajectory so far has been nothing short of electric, and “CHARIZZMA” arrives not just as another single, but as a confident declaration of identity, growth, and style. It’s a track that reflects their journey so far while pushing into bolder territory, cementing their distinct place in an industry overflowing with fresh talent. Since their emotional debut with “SOURPATCH,” which offered a vulnerable but fresh sound, and their cheeky, rebellious follow-up “GROSS,” HITGS has been steadily building a world where teenage emotion, self-expression, and high-concept pop storytelling collide. “CHARIZZMA” is their most daring effort to date—a vibrant, unapologetic anthem that oozes charm and confidence from the very first beat. Produced by veteran hitmaker Ryan Jhun—known for his work with SHINee, EXO, IU, and TWICE—the track brings together a bouncy piano riff, infectious beat drops, and layered instrumentation that balances edge with polish. The cheeky chorus line, “What’s in my big big bags?” is more than just a punchline—it’s a metaphor for the dreams, ideas, and drive the girls carry into every performance. “CHARIZZMA” takes inspiration from modern Gen Z culture, including a playful nod to the slang term “rizz,” and flips it into something affirming and powerful. The result is a song that speaks directly to a generation learning to define charm on their own terms. For HITGS , it’s not about fitting into expectations, but about owning your individuality with boldness and style. They sing, “No worries at all, chance & pocketful of dreams,” not as a fantasy, but as a lived reality—one built on instinct, emotion, and pure drive. The song’s emotional vocals, sweet harmonies, and sticky hook deliver a euphoric listening experience that hits both the heart and the hips, striking that elusive balance between cool and meaningful. This single is more than just a dance-pop bop—it’s a moment of self-assertion. It captures what it means to come of age in the public eye, to embrace your full self, and to turn all your contradictions—playfulness, intensity, vulnerability—into your power. HITGS has always been about showing the full spectrum of youth, and “CHARIZZMA” elevates that mission with a sonically rich, joyfully defiant spirit. It’s music for those moments when you can’t quite name what you feel, but know it’s real and worth dancing through. And that’s exactly what HITGS delivers: music that speaks *to* young people, not *at* them. Since their April 28 debut, HITGS has been building momentum not just with listeners but also with tastemakers and industry players. “SOURPATCH” was hailed by The FADER as “a zippy Jersey club bop that’s so immediately catchy,” while MTV spotlighted the group in their “Fresh Out” roundup, drawing attention to their vibrant energy and potential. Their follow-up single, “GROSS,” leaned into loud, expressive teen-girl energy—messy, confident, bold—and introduced a more rebellious side to their image. Now, “CHARIZZMA” brings these earlier ideas into sharp focus, tying everything together with a confident, elevated edge. The group itself consists of five members, each bringing something uniquely magnetic to the table. SEOJIN, a charismatic rapper and dancer, stands out with her slick movements and effortless cool. SEOHEE, the group’s powerhouse main vocalist, provides emotional depth and control that anchors every performance. HYERIN, the radiant center and visual, shines both on-camera and onstage with her natural charm. IYOO, the group’s fiery maknae, balances her roles as main dancer and rapper with a spirited energy that brings the group to life. And rounding out the team is VV, whose soft vocal tone and visual elegance bring warmth and balance to the group’s dynamic presence. What sets HITGS apart is not only their talent but the powerhouse team backing them. Behind the scenes, Co-CEO Kanghyo Kim brings over 17 years of industry experience from Starship Entertainment, where he helped launch and shape the careers of major acts like MONSTA X, WJSN, and IVE. Meanwhile, Co-CEO Hyungsik Jang, with a background in business development and strategic investment, has been instrumental in expanding HITGS’s reach across Asia, including Vietnam’s music streaming market. These two leaders have built HITGS’s career not only with creative vision but also with calculated strategy, ensuring that every step the group takes is both meaningful and well-positioned. In an era where girl groups are debuting faster than ever, it takes something truly special to stand out. HITGS has not only captured attention—they’ve begun to reshape the conversation. Their blend of high-energy choreography, emotional storytelling, and cultural fluency resonates with fans across languages and borders. But more than anything, what draws listeners to HITGS is their honesty. They sing what they mean, they perform what they feel, and they show up with both polish and personality. “CHARIZZMA” isn’t just the name of a single—it’s the essence of who HITGS is. They’re not afraid to be loud, to be soft, to be everything in between. Their story isn’t being written for them—it’s being created in real time, alongside their fans. Every release is another page in the ever-evolving ‘HITGStory,’ and with each one, their voice grows louder, bolder, and more undeniable. They’re not here to chase trends. They’re here to make impact—and they’re doing it with charisma that’s impossible to fake. Don't Miss Your Chance To See This 'CHARIZZMA'tic Group At KCON LA 2025 At The X Stage!

  • Ravi.O & Jiwon Dive Deep in “Abyss of Love”—A Latin-Korean Ballad That Transcends Borders

Sometimes, a song comes out of nowhere and just wrecks you —not because it’s trying to, but because it’s honest. That’s exactly what happened when Ravi.O The Assessini, a former Universal Music Latin artist, teamed up with Jiwon, ex-member of K-pop girl group BOTOPASS, to release their new single “Abyss of Love.” This isn’t your typical industry crossover. It’s a deeply personal, Latin-meets-Korean ballad that came together in one of the most unexpected ways—and it hits hard. The two met behind the scenes of SBS MegaTV’s Que Lunes, where Ravi.O hosts a variety show that spotlights K-pop idols, rockstars, and all kinds of creatives. He’s known for being animated, charming, and surprisingly fluent in K-culture. When Jiwon came on for an interview, what was supposed to be a routine taping ended with a bold, life-changing suggestion. “I just asked her, ‘What if you did one more song—not as an idol, just as you?’” Ravi.O recalls. That one moment turned into “Abyss of Love.” For Ravi, the track wasn’t written to impress—it was survival. “This track is everything my heart’s been through this year,” he says. “I recorded it with tears in my eyes. I really loved that woman, and I didn’t know how to let it out—except through this.” You can hear it. The song leans into the emotional pull of early 2000s pop—those rich, layered harmonies and nostalgic chord progressions you’d expect from Backstreet Boys  or NSYNC —but with the kind of vulnerability that hits like a late-night Super Junior  ballad. It’s not neat or polished. It’s raw, confused, and echoing. For Jiwon, this track was something entirely new. Not just a comeback—but a beginning. “This is the first time I’ve written both the lyrics and the melody,” she shares. “It’s my first real release as me , not part of a group. Ravi really pushed me to step out—and I’m glad I did.” Her verse—sung delicately in Korean—doesn’t just act as a translation. It feels like a reply, a reflection, a harmony to Ravi’s aching voice. Together, their vocals don’t blend as much as they mirror  one another—two stories, one feeling. Ravi.O has always had one foot in multiple worlds. Born to Puerto Rican and Italian parents and raised in North America, he cut his teeth under Get Away Music alongside artists like Nicky Jam , gaining a strong following in the Latin scene before stepping into Korean media. But his love for K-pop isn’t a new phase. “I’ve been obsessed with SS501  since forever,” he laughs. “So writing a song with someone like Jiwon? Unreal.” And while this may look like a textbook Latin x K-pop collaboration on paper, it’s really anything but. There’s no trend-chasing, no genre fusion checklist. Just two artists, in two languages, giving themselves permission to be honest. Whether “Abyss of Love”  ends up being a one-time thing or the start of a new chapter for both artists, what matters is that it’s real. It’s not a polished product—it’s a confession. Two hearts across the world, singing the same ache in different words. And in a time where much of the music we hear feels calculated, Ravi.O and Jiwon have given us something that cuts through the noise: pain, truth, and a little bit of healing. “Abyss of Love” is out now on all streaming platforms. For more on Ravi.O, and Jiwon to stay up to date on future activities and new releases.

  • 82MAJOR ‘TAKEOVER’ NYC On Their Debut Tour

82MAJOR, the 6-member K-pop group, have kicked off their debut tour with a couple dozen stops in North America. A crowd of several hundred fans were on their feet early, at the historic Queens Theatre to mark the 6th stop of SEONG IL, YE CHAN, SEONG MO, SEONG BIN, SEOK JOON, and DO GYUN’s ‘<82 SYNDROME>’ tour. Photo by Nikki C. Their fans, called 82DE (a combination of 82 and attitude), were at the venue early to take part in all of the pre-show benefits with the members. A soundcheck party, solo member selfies, and hi-touch are just a few of the events that can get fans up close to their favorite idols. With temperatures into the upper 80’s in NYC that day, early birds were surprised with an additional fan service, ‘Hydration King’ YE CHAN handed out water to the waiting fans to make sure everyone was taken care of in the elevated temps. Promptly at 7:00pm, 82MAJOR took to the stage and kicked off their set with their most recent single ‘TAKEOVER’ followed by ‘Stuck’ before taking a break to greet the crowd with their first ment of the night. They kept the energy up with ‘Heroes’ and ‘Gossip’. Having started the show in a vintage denim look, it didn’t take long before the members shed their jackets and continued performing in their black rocker looks previously concealed under the denim. A few songs later the members took a break to talk to the crowd about how special this first tour was for them. The members spoke about how they wanted to do something special for the 82DE that have supported them since their debut in October 2023. They created two songs ‘Say More’ and ‘Suspicious’, released them on SoundCloud, and added them as special stages for this tour. Continuing on with crowd favorites, ‘Illegal’ and ‘Choke’ had the members sweating through their shirts, with YE CHAN commenting ‘my shirt is two different colors!’ The 90-minute performance had very little downtime. It was packed with intense choreo, steady vocals and precise rapping. With only one off-stage break, the members took a quick moment to switch into their merch shirt before coming out to end the show with ‘Promise You’, a song specifically written for 82DE. The crowd interactions during the ments were some of the highlights of the night, with the member’s individual personalities spotlighted. They talked about how it was the first time in NYC for several of the members and they were looking forward to checking out the Empire State Building, Times Square and shopping - ‘spending money they don’t have’ YE CHAN hilariously added. SEOK JOON, a self-proclaimed Marvel fan, was in awe of the city that served as the backdrop of the Spiderman franchise. 82MAJOR’s <82 SYNDROME> North American tour was an impressive display of stamina and musicality. They matched the energy of the crowd all night and have paved their own musical path. They cite influences such as Big Bang and EXO’s Baekhyun, that inspired them to want to become idols, but want to create a style that is all their own and not just follow the trends. With their impressive dancing, unique tone and songwriting skills, they are poised to take the next MAJOR (pun intended) step into mainstream K-Pop. Looking forward to seeing more marketing and promo from the members to achieve the notoriety to match their talent. You can check out 82MAJOR at any of the 17 remaining dates of their <82 SYNDROME> North American tour.

  • It’s A “Sure Thing”: Rising Rookies, 82MAJOR, Are Taking The U.S. By Storm!

There’s a new syndrome sweeping the U.S. – an electrifying, uncontrollable burst of rhythm and charisma.  Symptoms include heart-racing excitement, spontaneous dancing, and nonstop chanting.  The cause?  One name:  82MAJOR! Formed under Great M Entertainment, 82MAJOR is a rising 6-member boy group that’s redefining the rookie standard.  The name “82MAJOR” itself is a nod at South Korea’s country code (+82) and their desire to establish themselves as a “major presence globally”.  After intense trainee years, they officially made their debut on October 11, 2023 with the bold and confident single, “ First Class .”  In a 2023 round table interview  with K Fuse sat down with group members SEONG IL, SEOK JOON, SEONG BIN, YE CHAN, DO GYUN, and SEONG MOto discuss how they would define being a “major presence”.  SEONG IL defined it as “worldwide recognition, where anyone on the streets knows who we are,” while DO GYUN and SEONG MO spoke about being a comforting and positive presence for people around the world.  YE CHAN summed it up with a bold vision:  “ Sold-out tours – everywhere! ”  Fast forward to now, and that dream is in motion as the members officially set out on their first North American Tour, <82 SYNDROME>. Outside the Nashville venue, 82DE showed up early, braving the heat in creative outfits and with handmade signs. DO GYUN, living up to his “hydration king” title, stepped out to hand out water and thank fans personally. Inside, the excitement was already building—fans danced, sang along, and bonded over their love for 82MAJOR. Then—it happened. Once the lights dimmed and the opening notes of “TAKEOVER” rang through the venue, all bets were off. YE CHAN’s whisper — “Worldwide always greater, open up the third eye” — sent chills through the room.. The moment the beat dropped and the full-group took the stage, the atmosphere shifted. Sharp, synchronized choreography lit up the stage as the group exploded into their opening performance, setting the tone for what would be a night to remember. The seamless mix of controlled, powerful rap lines and smooth, soaring vocals traded between members had the crowd singing along and filling the two tiered venue with a thunderous roar of cheers from the first chorus. The synergy was undeniable—on stage and off—and the energy only climbed from there.  Keeping the momentum high, 82MAJOR immediately transitioned into “STUCK,”  delivering a raw, unexpected burst of intensity that went beyond the studio version. SEONG BIN and SEONG MO’s rap verses hit harder live—charged with a grit and urgency that pulsed through the speakers. Their delivery amplified by the crowd’s energy, the performance felt like a direct jolt to the heart, proving that 82MAJOR’s stage presence can’t be fully captured in a recording. Taking a moment to introduce themselves, 82MAJOR’s leader SEONG IL stepped forward and shouted, “HELLO NASHVILLE! WE ARE…” to which the rest of the group responded in perfect sync, “82MAJOR!” One by one, the members followed with individual introductions, each earning a wave of cheers from the crowd. YE CHAN then took the mic to officially welcome everyone to the 82 Syndrome North American Tour. Excited to be in Nashville for the first time, he didn’t hesitate to bring up a fact most Tennessee K-Pop fans know all too well: “ I actually heard that you guys don’t get a lot of K-Pop concerts here .” That line drew an instant response of agreement from the crowd. YE CHAN grinned, soaking it in before adding with a playful nod, “So... who was the first K-Pop artist to perform here?” A beat passed—and then his answer: “My brother.” When YE CHAN asked how the members were feeling, DO GYUN lit up: “I’m so happy to spend this special time with 82DE!” SEONG IL added, “When we found out we were going on tour, we couldn’t wait to meet all our North American 82DE,” and SEOK JOON followed with, “We worked really hard for this show—hope you enjoy it!” SEONG BIN jumped in with a pumped-up, “Are you guys ready?!”  Before the next song, YE CHAN explained the tour name: “82” from their group and country code, and “Syndrome” symbolizing their dream to become a wave spreading across North America. SEONG BIN quickly added with a grin, “But we’ve already met so many 82DE… I think the syndrome’s already started, no?” That line sent the crowd into a roar just as the opening beats of “Heroes” kicked in. The crowd erupted with roaring cheers as every move of the choreography landed with razor-sharp precision, the members moving as one flawless unit that electrified the entire room. Fans were jumping in sync and pumping their fists into the air, completely captivated by the group’s dynamic stage presence and feeding off every beat. Next up was the old-school vibe of “Gossip,” and as the familiar intro started, the crowd instantly joined in, singing along with eager enthusiasm. As the chorus hit, the entire venue shouted back with the group in perfect unison: “Talk about me, talk about me, 82 do it better, do it better, you know what I mean.” That shared moment of connection only fueled the excitement, and as the track kicked into full gear, another thunderous roar of cheers exploded throughout the venue, filling the space with pure electric energy. During the next talk segment, the members shared that they had prepared two new songs and worked hard on their English to better connect with 82DE. They said they brought their energy—but were getting even more back from the crowd. DO GYUN thanked fans for waiting in the heat, and when asked what he prepared, YE CHAN joked about his English skills before saying, more seriously, that he brought his whole heart to this tour. DO GYUN, ready to move to the next stage, called out to 82DE to make sure they were ready before the group launched into “Face Time.” Fans bounced up and down to the beat, singing along and cheering for each member as their individual parts began, keeping the energy alive throughout the performance. Without missing a beat, 82MAJOR smoothly transitioned into their next stage. As the beat for “Thorns” dropped, the crowd once again filled the venue with cheers. YE CHAN took a moment to tell about the two songs that they just performed, playfully struggling with his “practiced English skills,” which had the crowd laughing right along with him. He translated the song’s Korean title with a smile, saying, “A thorny path is also okay. This song means that no matter what path we take, even if it be a hard one… wow, English…” He paused, chuckling at himself before correcting, “Even if it is a hard one, it will be okay because we have you guys.” The genuine warmth in his words resonated deeply with the fans, who responded with cheers and applause, feeling the heartfelt message behind the song. Before moving on, the members shared their excitement about being in Nashville. DO GYUN said he’d looked up the city and wanted to explore and take photos, while SEONG MO was eager to check out the music scene on Broadway. DO GYUN praised the crowd’s energy, calling it fitting for the “City of Music.” SEOK JOON brought up Nashville’s hot chicken and asked for food recs—YE CHAN misheard a fan shout “Arby’s,” but the crowd quickly corrected him with chants for “Hattie B’s,” drawing big laughs. Getting ready to lift the energy again with a trifecta of fan-favorites, DO GYUN signaled the start of the next stage by softly singing, “Happy birthday to you.” The crowd erupted in cheers, waving lightsticks and singing along to the chorus with joy. As the song came to a close, the entire venue joined 82MAJOR in singing the heartfelt final lyrics in perfect harmony: “Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday my baby, Happy birthday to you.” Without missing a beat, the group transitioned into the bright and youthful vibes of “Sure Thing,” instantly lightening the atmosphere. The crowd swayed and bobbed side to side, completely caught up in the carefree energy that filled the venue. Not wanting to lose a single moment of momentum, 82MAJOR immediately jumped into their next track, “PASSPORT.” The energy in the room soared as fans jumped and sang along with the catchy chorus, their voices blending in perfect harmony. Each member’s distinct parts were met with enthusiastic cheers, but it was SEOK JOON’s smooth, lower-ranged entrance with the line “Can’t nobody” that brought the house down, triggering a deafening roar of excitement from the crowd. Next, it was time for 82DE to experience something extra special — the two songs that 82MAJOR created just for the tour. SEONG BIN took the lead, casually motioning for fans to simply vibe with them, even if they didn’t know the tracks yet. Then, with a knowing grin, he began humming the melody, teasing what was coming. The moment YE CHAN blended in with a playful “Oo-ee-oo-ah-ah,” the crowd caught on instantly, echoing the line back in unison — a moment that felt like an inside secret shared between artist and fan. With the crowd locked in, the group launched into the bright, easy-going rhythm of “Say More.” The stage lit up with color and warmth as fans danced, swayed, or simply smiled along, soaking in every beat. The mood quickly shifted, though, as 82MAJOR transitioned seamlessly into the moody, bass-driven “Suspicious.” The performance carried a darker, more mysterious energy — full of slick choreography, piercing gazes, and a magnetic stage presence that showed yet another side of the group’s versatility.  YE CHAN later explained the song “Say More” as a romantic song written by himself and SEONG MO, and SEONG BIN saying “the next stage, Suspicious, felt so different performing here in Nashville.” Showing their playful side, the members turned the next talk segment into a comedy moment. DO GYUN signaled the next stage, but YE CHAN, mid-sip, joked, “I’m trying to drink water. Wait a minute.” The crowd cheered, and DO GYUN fired back, “But you always say you’re born ready.” YE CHAN replied, “Being born ready doesn’t mean you don’t need rest,” sparking more cheers. SEONG BIN then joked he was sad the crowd wasn’t screaming—prompting an immediate roar of energy. With the vibe fully recharged, it was time for the trifecta of 82MAJOR’s signature high-energy tracks. First up was their pre-debut track “Illegal.” While longtime fans had been with the song since its original release, many were introduced to it through the group’s second mini album ‘X-82.’ Regardless of when they joined the fandom, everyone in the room knew the chorus by heart — screaming the lyrics with passion and power that echoed off the venue walls. Next, the group jumped straight into formation for “Choke,” and the energy hit a whole new level. 82DE danced and shouted along with every drop, fully synced with the group’s electrifying stage presence. And just when it felt like the night couldn’t go any harder, a seamless transition launched the crowd into “82.” The cheers were deafening as fans jumped in unison with the group, fists in the air, yelling “EIGHTY-TWO!!” at full volume. The entire room felt like one massive party — artist and fan moving as one. Before the final stretch, 82MAJOR took a moment to reflect on their high-energy songs that hold special meaning for the group. YE CHAN shared why “82” is more than just a song title—it’s a symbol of their identity, saying confidently, “82 is who we are.” He then talked about “Illegal,” explaining that it was originally a five-member release before he joined. But he made sure to add his own impact, saying, “My verse, my intro, my bridge, and my choreo go hard. I did what I had to do. I showed up. I represent.” The crowd erupted in cheers as he capped it off with a playful Gen Alpha phrase: “I ate up and I ate down.” DO GYUN then checked in with the fans, asking if they were having fun, to which the crowd shouted back enthusiastically. The mood shifted when SEONG BIN announced sadly, “It’s so sad that I have to do this line every time, but unfortunately, this is going to be the song,” sparking a chorus of passionate “NOOO!”s from the crowd who clearly didn’t want the night to end. As the show neared its end, the members of 82MAJOR took a few heartfelt moments to reflect on their time in Nashville. One by one, they shared their thoughts, the emotion in their voices matching the warmth radiating from the crowd. SEONG IL opened the segment with gratitude, thanking everyone in attendance for bringing such incredible energy to the night. His words were calm but full of appreciation — a true leader’s way of acknowledging the fans who made it all possible. SEONG BIN followed with a wide smile, explaining how much he enjoyed performing with such a fired-up audience. The genuine excitement from 82DE had clearly made an impact on him, and he didn’t hide it. SEOK JOON, full of quiet fire, added that he’s already looking forward to sharing even more passionate and powerful stages with 82DE in the future. Meanwhile, SEONG MO wore his heart on his sleeve, expressing his love for the fandom and how much pure fun he had on stage. “I want to come back and have even more fun,” he said, his joy impossible to miss. DO GYUN’s tone turned thoughtful as he looked ahead with hope, saying he’s excited to keep making great memories with 82DE. It wasn’t just about tonight — it was about everything that could come next. And finally, YE CHAN stepped forward to close out the reflections, his voice full of emotion. He shared that performing in Nashville had always been a dream of his — something he’d imagined for years — and now that it had come true, it felt like a blessing to do it in front of 82DE. “I really hope we can come back,” he said, before complimenting the crowd’s electric energy one last time. It was a heartfelt pause before the final stretch. SEONG IL stepped forward with a grin, rallying the crowd: “When I say jump, I want to see you jump!” The room exploded in cheers. Spotting a toddler, the members joked, “That includes you, baby. A baby jump!” — drawing laughs and awws. Ever thoughtful, they added, “But please be safe. If you can’t jump, just scream!” With that, the opening beat of their debut track “FIRST CLASS” dropped — and the venue lit up with an energy that somehow topped everything before it. Fans jumped to their feet, shouting the lyrics at full volume, waving their arms, and matching the group’s every move with pure adrenaline. Then came the moment: “JUUUUMP!” SEONG IL roared into the mic. Each time he shouted the cue, the entire venue moved like a wave — rows of 82DE leaping into the air, fists pumping to the beat, chanting back, “JUMP! JUMP! JUMP ON ANOTHER CLASS!” It was a finale powered by joy, adrenaline, and connection, with every fan holding nothing back. As the final chorus echoed into the night and the stage lights dimmed, 82MAJOR took their leave, exchanging hearts and waves with the crowd as they disappeared backstage. But Nashville wasn’t ready to say goodbye just yet. A chant started to rise. “ENCORE! ENCORE!” quickly transformed into something even louder — “82! 82! 82!”  The venue shook once again as 82MAJOR returned to the stage and flipped the atmosphere once more — this time trading high-energy hype for something softer, more sentimental. As the opening chords of “Promise” began to play, the crowd immediately caught the shift. Lightsticks swayed gently from left to right, casting a sea of color across the venue. It was a calm, glowing moment — but one still brimming with emotion. Onstage, the members made the most of every second. SEONG BIN and YE CHAN took the lead, playfully directing the waves from the stage with childlike energy that had the crowd laughing and following along. Just as the vibe settled into something sweet, SEOK JOON’s rap verse lit another spark — fans pumping their arms in rhythm to chants of “Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!” It was a perfect balance of joy and tenderness, a finale that felt more like a celebration between friends than the end of a concert. Before stepping off stage for good, the members paused one more time to thank Nashville for such an unforgettable night. But the energy still didn’t let up — so much so, they couldn’t help but sneak in a little reprise of “Sure Thing,” sending the crowd into one last round of cheerful movement. With waves, hearts, and lingering smiles, 82MAJOR finally leaving the stage — but not the hearts of 82DE. From start to finish, 82MAJOR’s Nashville stop on their <82 SYNDROME> tour was more than just a concert — it was an experience. Full of laughter, unforgettable fan moments, electrifying performances, and emotional sincerity, the night proved one thing for sure: 82MAJOR isn’t just chasing their dream — they’re living it. And judging by the roar of the crowd, they’re taking 82DE right along with them every step of the way.
