Aespa and ZEROBASEONE wowed the crowd with a stunning performance both nights while Lauv was the surprised unannounced guest on day one who performed hit song with Lay Zhang Krazy Super Concert, the two-day music festival made its way to Los Angeles area with a one-of-a-kind experience and stacked line-up of Asian-pop superstars and global artists from other regions. The concert’s inaugural series of concerts started in 2023 in New York. The two-day music festival was held at the Long Beach Arena. All attendees were encouraged to experience the variety of on-site activities such as food trucks and fan activations. The six-member boy group stopped in Atlanta on August 24 for their “SPOTLIGHT” World Tour, bringing a wave of excitement and anticipation to the city. As the doors opened, the venue buzzed with energy, ready to immerse in hours of good music and unforgettable performances. Hyojin, E-Tion, Seungjun, Wyatt, Minkyun, and U, the talented members of ONF , brought a contagious happiness to each other and their fans, affectionately known as FUSE. The night was a visual and auditory feast, beginning with the group's entrance in bright and prince-like costumes, setting the tone for an evening filled with musical magic. From the upbeat melodies of " New World " to the stylish vibes of " Gucci ," each song carried a unique charm that resonated with the audience. The concert was a journey through different moods and styles, as ONF seamlessly transitioned from one concept to another. On September 1, 2024, Kisu held a mini concert and Cafe’-style fan meeting hosted by K-Prodigy at Tea Town in Montgomery, AL. Kisu, a successful Korean singer/songwriter, has been performing since 2012, debuting with the K-Pop group 24K, and has been writing and recording as a solo artist since 2017, launching his solo career after completing his military service in 2020. While some attendees had followed Kisu since his time as a K-Pop artist, more than half of the attendees had never attended an event or concert for a Korean artist, and were delighted that one of the stops on Kisu’s tour was in a city close enough for them to travel to! While they may have been less familiar with his lyrics, they happily purchased numerous fan items such as photocards and postcards. Kisu spoke of how he enjoyed meeting his fans, both old and new, and how he enjoyed connecting with fans in a more intimate setting. The event began with a concert that was free to attend and the fans lined up early to check in for the event (doing plenty of the aforementioned fan-merchandise shopping!) Some of those who had lined up outside early were delighted when Kisu came out and greeted the fans in line, building their excitement for the upcoming live performance. Once they entered and found their places, standing or seated at tables, Kisu sang for about 30 minutes. His set list included songs from his solo career such as Waves of You, Love You Back, and Will Be Fine (a sweet song written to be encouraging, he said, after talking about how many people were discouraged during the pandemic). Kisu also shared his heart with fans, talking about how he wanted to sing a serious ballad, BOY, which he said is very important to him and contains an expression of his own life, pain, and thoughts, and said he hoped the audience would encourage him: “You can do it!” Kisu also brought out some fun songs, including Cheese Burger, a cute love song that he encouraged the fans to sing along with during the chorus. The fans, being largely newbies to fan events like this, were a bit shy at first but warmed up with subsequent choruses. He also performed the upbeat song Drive!, which garnered an enthusiastic response as well. His final song, KISS U, he explained, is the same as his fandom name, KISS U (his name, K I S U with an extra S, “for Special, which you are”), and expresses his feelings about his fans. This song also particularly highlighted his exceptional vocal talents. After the concert, ticketholders for the cafe event were seated at tables which Kisu visited in turn, as they enjoyed the Boba teas they were served, chatting with them and autographing a poster for each person. At each table, Kisu ably engaged with the guests personally and each of them was able to receive individual attention during their table’s time to visit with him. Afterwards, each table was able to take a group photo (either polaroid or phone camera) together with the artist. Additional perks available for purchase included individual polaroids with Kisu (including an option for an autographed polaroid) or a phone selfie. This event successfully introduced a talented Korean artist, KISU, to new fans (old and young alike) who spoke of appreciating his visit to Alabama specifically, and hopes for his return, and an encouraging response to event organizer, K-Prodigy, for their desire to bring additional talented Korean musical guests in the future. His long-time fans were also delighted to be able to see him again after a long time (following both his departure from 24K as well as his mandatory military service). What a captivating evening it was on August 25 in the vibrant metropolis of Los Angeles, as NTFUL -- the official fandom of NTX -- illuminated the night with fervor, anticipating the creation of new memories. NTFUL proceeded along Avenue 56 to the second floor of the Lodge Room, where they eagerly awaited the dynamic performances scheduled for NTX's "NEW GROUND" inaugural U.S. Debut Concert!" Upon their entrance into the iconic 1922 masonic themed venue in Los Angeles, NTFUL -- NTX 's official fandom name -- proceeded to the second floor, where they were met with a stage bathed in the words "NEW GROUND," subtly illuminating the backdrop. VIP ticket holders were the first to arrive, securing a prime position for an exhilarating pre-concert sound check and the opportunity to capture a group photograph with the members before they exited the stage to prepare for the evening's performances. As the remaining attendees made their way in, the air was thick with anticipation for the forthcoming shows, with fans exchanging freebies and collecting their slogans proudly throughout the night. For those who may not know, this track was a highlight during NTX's journey on JTBC’s survival show, “PEAK TIME,” which Yunhyeok described as " a pivotal moment " for the group, while Eunho expressed his excitement about performing this particular stage – during the fan sign the day prior.  The members took a moment to introduce themselves, showcasing their playful personalities. Hyeongjin kicked things off with a cheerful, “Hi! My name is...,” leaning his mic toward NTFUL, who cheered him on enthusiastically. He humorously replied, “My name is, ‘AHHHHHHH.’ Yeah, Hyeongjin.” Yunhyeok also displayed his playful side, rallying the fans with a chant, “When I say, ‘Oh Yeah,’ you say SKRRRT,” which NTFUL eagerly echoed. The track “ DROP THAT ,” crafted by Rawhyun, Changhun, and Seungwon, highlighted the group’s versatility with its cool hip-hop vibe, allowing each member's unique talents to shine. The atmosphere shifted as they transitioned from the powerful opening hits to the sultry sounds of “ Vintage Girl .” The members shared anecdotes from their time in LA, including a fun tidbit about their new friend, before Yunhyeok introduced the next song, emphasizing that NTX writes their own music and choreographs their performances. As the fan favorite “ Kick It The Door ” kicked in, Rawhyun and Changhun electrified the stage with their iconic rap verses, causing the crowd’s energy to spark once more! Atlanta, Georgia is a vibrant city known for its diverse night life and rich appreciation for various cultures and artists across genres. On a memorable evening of August 15, the city welcomed a unique set of fans as the renowned venue, The Masquerade, hosted the Japanese rock band, BURNOUT SYNDROMES . The band, comprised of vocalist and guitarist Kumagai Kazuumi (熊谷和海), bassist and backup vocalists Ishikawa Taiyu (石川大裕), and drummer and backing vocalist Hirose Takuya (廣瀬拓哉), came together on May 4, 2005. Since their inception, BURNOUT SYNDROMES have released two albums under Epic Records Japan and have contributed music to popular anime series such as Haikyu!! , Dr. Stone , and Gintama . Their musical style is a fusion of various genres like techno, ambient, and hip-hop, showcasing their versatility and creative prowess in crafting songs that paint vivid narratives. His spirited performance saw him jumping and moving along with the songs, his bass guitar adding depth and groove to the music. The crowd responded enthusiastically, mirroring Ishikawa's movements by raising their hands in the air and jumping along to the infectious rhythm. The band then took a moment to talk about some of the fun things they did while on the plane over to America, to which Kumagai admitted that he liked to play RPGs, and Ishikawa confessed he was not a RPG gamer, but more of a soccer fan -- which generated supportive cheers from the audience. It was time to start the second half of the program with " The WORLD Is Mine ," which was accompanied with a carefully curated lyric video created by Ishikawa before showcasing a unbelievable later half of the show as they performed top fan-favorite hits, " Kimi no Tame no Music," -- where fans were asked to turn on their flashlights and wave them back and forth to the music, " High Score Girl , " -- where Ishikawa would show attendees the dance choreography for this stage, and he would then lead them to dance throughout the performance. Between " High Score Girl" and the upcoming stage, fans were greeted with VCR with a relevant captioning that hyped them up for the next stage, " Phoenix ," -- which filled the venue with the harmonious voices of the band and attendees together. Anime fans and BURNOUT SYNDROMES dedicated fan base alike were singing along to each word, raising their fists int he air and jumping along to the sounds of this powerhouse anthem. The energy skyrocketed as fans were welcomed with a breathtakingly curated video and mesmerizing blue lights that transformed the venue into an enchanting " Ocean."  Hirose set the tempo, while Kumagai and Ishikawa traded their instruments for a heartwarming all-vocal performance that stirred emotions. The crowd was in awe of the band's incredible adaptability and their knack for creating any desired mood. The next stage began with a soulfully acapella, " 飛べ fly, high ", once again elevating the venue's energy and sending anime fans into a frenzy! Ishikawa and Kumagai led the fans in an energetic jump, exuding pure joy on stage, which carried through to the final performance of " Hikousen ," a personal favorite. As the show approached its end, the trio vanished momentarily to change into their tour shirts, prompting the crowd to chant, "ONE MORE SONG! ONE MORE SONG!..." BURNOUT SYNDROMES happily obliged, returning to the stage to express their heartfelt appreciation to the audience for their support and enthusiasm. They then delivered a powerful rendition of their Paralympics song, " Amateras ," before concluding the night on a high note with the tour's self-titled track, " Good Morning [New] World! " The synergy between the band members was undeniable, creating a seamless performance that had the audience fully engaged from start to finish.
