Written and Photographed by McCayla M. | Edited by BR Korean Boy Group AB6IX delighted fans by bringing their “2024 AB6IX FAN CONCERT: ‘Find YOU’” tour to Miami ABNEW!  Starting the concert off with fan favorites like “ TRAVELER ,” and “ THE ANSWER ,” members Woong, Donghyun, Woojin, and Daehwi lit up the stage! After a few heart shaking performances the members announced it was officially game time.  Their first game was a random dance play where Woong got to show off his moves to Le Sserafim’s “ Smart .” Next they played a game they dubbed the “Sticky Note Game” where they put a bunch of sticky notes on a member and that member had to shake the notes off. All 4 members decided the only fair way to assign the two players for this game was by playing a game of rock paper scissors! Woong and Donghyun ended up being the two who participated. Donghyun showed off his impressive tactic and got all the notes off almost immediately. Woong wasn’t as lucky, however fans and his members alike enjoyed watching him try! They also played a type of guessing game where the members lined up and had to act out a sport starting with Woojin and ending with Woong, which they did perfectly at! As the show continued with other hits like, “ SAVIOR ,” and “ ILY (I Love You) ” the fan con took another break for the members to draw the winner of the event’s raffle! AB6IX and Kstage had fans enter a draw to possibly win a new pack of AirPods and AirPod Pros! Before the show, the members took a moment to speak with K Fuse to discuss their favorite parts of tour where members said that they have visited many cities they haven’t been before – where Woong says that, of course, meeting Miami ABNEW was a huge highlight of this tour!  We also asked the members what they thought their strongest quality is! Daehwi mentioned his history of living in many different countries and cities, and cited that as the reason for his openness and excitement to learn new cultures. Woojin said his strongest quality by far is his ability to create choreographies and his strong sense of dance! Woong thought his quality was a little unneeded in America but he thinks his strongest quality is his fluency in Japanese, which we assured him there are many Japanese speaking fans even in America! Lastly, Donghyun said his strongest quality is that he’s very approachable and always happy to meet new people! All and all the members of AB6IX and ABNEW alike had a phenomenal time in Miami and we cannot wait to meet again, hopefully sometime soon! Consisting of 8 members 一 E-Chan, D1, GK, Heechan, Lune, Junseo, Yuku, and Harry June 一   DKB made their debut on February 3rd, 2020, with their mini album, “ Youth. ” The 8-piece ensemble was created by the music label Brave Entertainment. The reason behind their group name demonstrates the member’s determination to keep growing in the world through their music. Their fandom name is “ BB ”, which means that their fans are their best friends. The K-pop group has just released their 8th Mini Album titled “ Urban Ride ” on July 17, 2024. The first track off this album is called, “ Star ”. The song starts with   some very enticing and lovely vocal   melodies sung by two of the members, Heechan and Harry June, before heading into the catchy lyrics of the song. The track also surprises fans with a small rap verse during the song and showcases the member’s strong vocal and rapping skills throughout the song. The lyrics further help showcase an alluring love song that you just can’t get enough of and has you singing along. This song helps its fans relate to feelings of loving someone greatly and wanting them by your side when times get rough and you're feeling anxious because that special someone helps you to feel at ease. Written and Photographed by Tim L. The Volunteers, a Korean indie-rock band, are embarking on their highly anticipated summer tour across North America. Renowned for their dynamic live shows and heartfelt lyrics, this Korean alternative rock band promises an unforgettable experience. Hailing from Seoul in South Korea, the Volunteers formed in 2018 and is made up of members Yerin Baek, Jonny, and Chiheon Kim. Signed to Yerin's own label, Blue Vinyl, they released their first self-titled album in 2021 and followed up with a two-part single in 2022. And now for the first time on the big stage, are performing to the hearts and fans of Dallas, Texas.  As the night begins to engulf the venue, fans excitedly waltz in and enter the hall filled with joy and anticipation for the performance of the night. Fans and viewers find their seats with the help of ushers and wait with curiosity, not knowing the best performance was moments away. The smoke machine begins to whir and settles fog across the stage like a thick blanket. And as the lights dim down, The Volunteers enter the stage to their largest crowd yet. The crowd erupts into cheers and warm welcomes as the lights introduce each artist. Fans yell and scream their names as they begin getting their mics and instruments ready. The first chord is strummed gently and the crowd simmers down as the band opens with “Crap” and “Violet”. As they continue performing, the crowd rises to their feet to cheer and sing along. Afterwards, the band performs some of Korea's top hits for the Texas stage such as “PINKTOP” and “L”, which rings and fills the venue hall with melodic and indie vibes.  During the show, Yerin makes sure the crowd feels a part of the performance and has plenty of fan interactions and talks. And anytime a song came to an end, the crowd would cheer for more and more. Fans waved their hands and flags as the energy began to pick up as the band performed more of their rock indie hits. And as the night came to a sad end, the band said their fellow goodbyes and thank you for the fans' support through their whole journey. The lights dim once again and the band begins to exit the stage.  The fans, although having a great time, wanted even more and more of their music and art, and began chanting in unison. What started as a few people chanting began to shake and roar the stage with fans yelling “ONE MORE, ONE MORE”. And with the cheers, the band peeks through the blinds and comes back on stage to perform two final songs for the best fans of the whole tour. They end the night with high energy and charisma, performing “Hypocreep” and “Let me go!”. The crowd dances and jumps to the beat as the drummer sets the tone through his heavy hits, and the crowd becomes energized by the powerful vocals of Yerin. And as the final chord rings out for the last time, the curtains close once again, for the final time of the night. The lights return on for the venue pit and fans leave with the memories and a time they will remember until they come back again, hopefully soon. Weekend nightlife in downtown Detroit has always been vibrant, attracting crowds for various activities such as sports games, gatherings with loved ones, and live music events. On the evening of July 13th, the area around The Fillmore Detroit was particularly lively, as K-Pop enthusiasts of all ages flocked to see the 5-member boy group, A.C.E. A.C.E , short for Adventure Calling Emotions, chose The Fillmore Detroit as the venue for the 12th stop of their cleverly titled 2024 'Rewind' Tour. Composed of members Junhee, Donghun, Sehyoon (WOW), Byeongkwan (BK), and Yuchan, A.C.E officially debuted under BEAT INTERACTIVE on May 23, 2017, with their first single album featuring the title track " Cactus. " The multi-level venue, designed to host 2,800 guests, was filled with devoted CHOICE fans from various cities, near and far. As the lights dimmed, CHOICE fans readied their Choisticks (the official light stick of the group) for an evening filled with hits from the group's beginning days, newer hits, dynamic performances and soulful melodies. A.C.E , known for their dynamic beats and skillful rapping, started the evening on a high note as the took the stage clothed in traditional hanboks and began a powerful performance of fan-favorite track " Goblin (Favorite Boys) ," while receiving enthusiastic cheers from CHOICE. Despite the absence of the group's youngest member, Yuchan, due to health reasons, CHOICE admirably filled the void by singing his parts, filling the venue with their impressive vocal talents. The group sustained the energetic atmosphere with an electrifying performance of the title track " 삐딱선 (SAVAGE) " from their 3rd mini album. Following the performance of " SAVAGE ," the members briefly paused to introduce themselves and express gratitude to CHOICE for their unwavering support. Junhee took a moment to reassure the audience that Yuchan was on the path to recovery and encouraged CHOICE to continue covering his parts. Transitioning to a more lighthearted atmosphere, the group demonstrated their playful demeanor in the next stages by delivering performances of " Changer " and their latest title track " My Girl ," infusing the venue with an air of joy and anticipation. This endearing facet of the group persisted as they engaged with CHOICE throughout performances of " Facetime " and " Down ." After showcasing their well-known rap prowess and playful nature, it was now time to showcase their swoon-worthy and wide-range vocal abilities, captivating the audience with performances of " Higher ," " Baby Tonight ," and a heartfelt performance of " Clover ." The harmonious voices of CHOICE resonated once more throughout the venue as they sang along with each performance, before A.C.E performed their latest single, " Supernatural ." While the members took another moment to talk with CHOICE, the stage was transformed with sleek stand-up mics and sharp blazer jackets. With infectious energy, they took their positions at the mics and kicked off an electrifying performance of their chart-topping single " Effortless ," followed by breathtaking covers of NewJeans' " GODS " and Taylor Swift's " Cruel Summer ." Both cover stages highlighted A.C.E's vocal range abilities once again, as members received deafening cheers from the crowd during their ad libs, and high notes. For the next stage, the venue was once again filled with the beautiful harmonies from CHOICE and the members with a performance of fan-favorite, " Slow Dive ." But wait, there was a twist! Throughout the entire performance, A.C.E was joined by what most fans believed to just be their backup dancers. To everyone's surprise, A.C.E was joined by none other than BEAT INTERACTIVE's rising stars, the talented trainees of HinLOVE. The crowd went wild as HinLOVE showcased their skills with a dynamic dance break, seamlessly blending with A.C.E's performance. The collaboration was a showstopper, demonstrating both groups' versatility and leaving the audience in awe. Before slowing things down and bidding goodbye to CHOICE, A.C.E electrified the venue once more with a breathtaking performance of " Under Cove r !" The group poured their hearts and souls into the stage, delivering sharp choreography and intense raps that sent the fans into a frenzy of cheers. The crowd sang along in perfect harmony to the chorus, creating an unforgettable moment. A.C.E never fails to express their deep gratitude for CHOICE as they took a moment to reminisce about their journey together, from busking and shouting "WE ARE A.C.E !" to their current tour and seventh year as a group. The love between the members and CHOICE was seen during the emotional performances of " Talk You Down " and " Angel , " where tears welled up in their eyes as they gazed out at the audience with admiration. The members wrapped up the night with their final two stages. Nostalgia kicked in for many CHOICE, as A.C.E performed " Take Me Higher ," and took one final moment to interact with and acknowledge the crowd. Finally, the night was complete when A.C.E ended with " Story ." A sentimental Junhee took one final bow to the crowd before A.C.E said their goodbye and exited the stage. To lighten the mood though, he ran back out and said, "Do you know what? Remember, we love you!" While the night was filled with a roller coaster of emotions from fans and the members, it was beautifully curated to highlight A.C.E's diversity in skills as all around multi-talented artists.
